It all boils down to the owners. The owners didn’t want to sign the big names for a big club, a club that wants to compete in every competition and WIN. Now Klopp looks bad, Salah, Virgil and the rest. Just because the owners didn’t want to spend and still compete. Of course Klopp had to sign off and he’s probably psychologically damaged by now, having to compete every year with the same formula. I’d be exhausted too

Exactly, look how close we’ve come to league titles, quadruples even. We spurned these opportunities mainly due to fatigue in most cases and a lack of quality in others. Most of us who bemoan FSG are not FSG OUT, we are just FSG do a bit more. Push the envelope a little bit more so we can get over the line instead of falling short each season. Matip was our starting CB going into this season and got injured right away. What did our owners do? Did they rectify the issue in January? No they hid behind Klopp leaving and we had to play a young lad in Quansah who gave away a vital goal in our title race against Man Utd. You’re 100% about how this comes down to the owners.

Incorrect, they signed Ali who was at the time the most expensive keeper, stumped up for virg, Nunez, were willing to spend £115m on Caicedo…how can you say they’re cheap…the money is there for the RIGHT player if they aren’t the right player we won’t overpay what is so difficult to understand

All well and good saying Alisson was the most expensive GK. Not a difficult signing to make when you’ve just received £142m for Coutinho. The only big signing they’ve made without having to sell to buy is Nunez. That’s one in about 11 years.

it's a mistake for Klopp Legacy, but honestly the best for the club next season.

The Crystal Palace game was unforgiveable. How they couldn't lift themselves for that game is a disgrace. Never thought I'd say it but, Salah is losing his legendary status and therefore, we need a serious discussion to be had!

I didn't know about the documentary, but it would explain A LOT... I would be irritated if there were cameras at my home and I can't catch a break because it's already too much without filming a documentary atop of everything. The press, training, internationals, 3 games in a week... and a documentary that LOADS OF FANS probably won't want to see now.

Salahs still in top 5 goals and assists. He’s still 20+ goals a season in all comps, he’s still more consistent than Klopp, and even though he’s tired too, (not to mention he was fasting during some of those last matches , he’s not QUITTING before his contract expires.

A lot of the goals conceded have come from turnovers in dangerous areas. These overexpose the defence such that it is almost impossible to constantly defend the attack. Another problem caused by the midfield and attack. Losing the ball constantly and then NOT counter pressing properly is mental. Our forwards are terrible at keeping possession, cycling possession, being press resistant, etc.

I think maybe the players feel Klopps intensity or his approach to games is not the same it feels like Klopp is counting down the days to leave he looks exhausted and maybe the players are not agreeing with his input easy to put blame on the players and they have to do better but I think Klopp is the issue he he looks like he don’t care he looks like he just can’t wait to walk out the door.

When Klopp goes to a club it takes 18 months to get team playing his formation and style, and then next year to bring in his players, then next two years he has success, then it starts to full apart, which it is now and has at his two previous clubs,

Gakpo and Elliot are playing out of position, they aren't forwards. The biggest issue is we aren't in control of games. Reasons: The approach play has been terrible this season - that has nothing to do with the players but with the setup and style of play. We are still trying to play a constant high press but it isn't executed properly mainly due to our players being more suited to ballplaying than pressing. This is causing our defense to be more exposed. We have been overperforming all season.

Now we have all these delusional fans spewing negativity. The main problem for the past 23 games is the defence leaking early goals, opponents exploiting our formation(only 2 players at the back), using the the same avenues, tactics , & 442 formation and marking our forwards out of the game. This forces our mids & backs to play backwards. Now we have always managed to overcome and win until the past 4 games we suffered losses from mental fatigue. NNow our fans blame & scapegoat individual forwards when the whole team has been poor. Reality is that is that at the start of the season it was stated that this this first season would be a transitional period to rebuild the team. Now the team has over achieved beyond all expectations for the season. So even with the breakdown in form, with due consideration with the amount of games, the team has done exceptionally well, even was contesting for top spot and congratulations is in order, not all this negativity & scapegoating. So let's lstop being delusional, leave the witch hunt, move on & motivate the team for the remaining matches.

The club will let players go for free, we will cash in on Salah

Look, when TAA plays we lose games, When Bradley plays we look stable in the backline. Whats the answer? Play TAA in the right mid position for good or sell him.

YEP. It's baffling how long we've all been saying play Trent in midfield...even BEFORE he performed really well there for England....and yet somehow he remains at RB. He's a brilliant passer of the ball, has vision, and great at set pieces...but the man cannot defend to save his life

If your wife mentioned out of the blue she is divorcing you, there is no way you would be 100% focused as the date draws closer. I see no difference here. I agree. There has been zero stability because the future is completely uncertain, or at least has been until now. They can't be expected to play like Arsenal or City when we're in the middle of a sudden and intense restructuring where nobody's position remains certain

There's definitely some kind of politics happening outside the chaning room with Klopp and the club i've always maintained it about his resignation. There's too many uncharacteristic moments in the team like today's spat between Mo and Klop. It's time for change...

This is just hairdresser noise. Slot has to sort out who he wants with Edwards. I would not be inclined to sell anyone just now. The squad is too small. The weakness is in midfield. No grit to stop attackers and no creativity from that section for the forwards. McAllister is played out of position but isn’t what we really need. TAA needs to be properly moved into midfield and Bradley taking the right back slot. Konate needs to buck up or go. We need a captain who shouts at his team. VVD isn’t the solution. If Salah wants to stay I would keep him for the champions League next season but he has to extend his contract for this so we can sell him if it doesn’t work out. Nunez will probably have to go next season if his finishing doesn’t improve. I would still retire/sell: Jones, Tsimikas, Kelleher, Thiago. They offer very little. We still need better quality in midfield. He do isn’t the answer.
