As an architectural designer, who strictly follows the "form follows function" ethos - this was pure boat porn for me...! (And I'm not even a huge fan of sailing vessels!) You had me at 'no A/C'... "You're not going to need A/C where we're going... Heat? Yeah, you'll need that." Where are the TVs...?!? Why no Italian designer cushions...?!? "We don't need no stickin' designers...!" Great vessel... Great tour Nick...! Cheers mate.

What a beast! The most amazing thing I heard was the setup that forces a makeshift rotation through the mechanical space. That's thinking that comes from decades of experience. As Nick would say...Brilliant!

A message for Mr. Castro: Sir, your ship is beautiful! I really enjoy the design and vision of this wonderful sailing vessel. You, your partner and crew are commanding a very special ship. It would be a privilege to not only sail upon her but also work there too.( If I was in my twenties again! As a member of the crew of course.) I wish you and all the passengers that sail on her pleasant voyages and keen adventures. And Nick, as always, yet another engaging and wonderful video. Cheers!

I'm having flashbacks of crossing the Drake Passage, and feeling that horrible seasickness all over again. As much as I really love the explorer style boats, this one gives me pause. Shackleton sailed into the southern ocean in a ship with twice that length. I've crossed the Drake aboard an icebreaker three times longer than this boat. I wouldn't wish that type of exploring on anyone.

LOL, Having no experience whatsoever in explorer yachting, especially sail, I have to think I'd much rather be on a very large, powered yacht meant for the purpose than a small sailing yacht that appears a bit uncomfortable. Can you imagine 14 people on that boat? I guess it's more the adventure passengers on this boat would be after, and it will certainly provide that in spades! 😁👍✌

Ship design, Engineering and fabrication hasn't rested on its laurels since Shakleton's Endurance. I don't think many industries have. Would you compare WW1 era military equipment to today? Or 100year old aircraft? Why compare a >100yr old ship to this (especially on just size!)
