Saidane's Safe Carbon Transfer Printing Part 03 - Tissue & Sizing

A third video in a series, using the CHIBA process, to demonstrates how to make safe carbon transfer prints without the use of bichromates/dichromates.This video shows how to make the glop, the tissue and how to size watercolor paper. The technique is similar to the one used in the dichromate carbon transfer.
Here's a list of the ingredients needed to make 500ml of glop:
1- 40 gr of Unflavored Gelatin
2- 500 ml of distilled water
3- 25 gr of sugar
4- 20 ml of isopropyl alcohol (optional)
5- 10 gr of black India ink.
For sizing:
1- 50% PVA size mixed with 50% water, you don't need to mix too much.
2- A foam roller.
In the next video we'll sensitize paper and make some safe carbon transfer prints.

You need to copyright the phrase "Habib's Original Safe Carbon Glop." Yes, share the formula, but claim the name. Someday, you might want to sell it by the bottle! 😸
