Thank you God. Ive been waiting for you for a while now. My therapist said before I made the first appt. he knew and helped Empaths. 6 months into it everytime i brought it up he changed the subject. I had to stop seeing him even though i have many issues that have to be delt with this has to come first. I moved into a low income apt and im overwhelmed so much i dont leave my room. We have a community kitchen , dinning room and livingroom. The pain in this place is like nothing ive ever felt. So many troubled people here its heart breaking. I have no boundries and i cant seem to draw a line between my good person self and the people pleaser. Thank You .

Some psychopaths get off on targeting people they perceive as weak and attempt to dominate them. And as empaths our "softness" is perceived as weakness. Psychopaths are mal adjusted and dysfunctional people that seek power and control through illicit means.

I am an empath. I used to think that I feel too much, then I figured out on my own that I was just feeding off everyone's emotions around me. It gets so tiring whenever I am in a crowded place and nobody understands that, always brushing me off as antisocial. I talk a lot, but I am silent when in a group. When people get to know me one on one, they often get surprised by that haha. But what I hate about this is that I want to help everyone but not everyone appreciates. Or it backfires. (I was told once by a good friend (not anymore) that everything bad happened because I was "too nice". I was depressed for a while because I couldn't understand why being too nice was a bad thing) It also gets frustrating because I feel like while I care for everyone, nobody cares for me. It is hard. Sometimes, I just want to stop feeling all of this. Because people are made to be selfish beings, and I want to be selfish for once. I had a friend who took advantage of me, took all my friends away from me by spreading lies and just the basic method of exclusion. Even though I have gotten those friends back, they still fail to understand why I still care for her. I still tell them to hang out with her because I hated that she was alone (I knew how that felt when she did it to me and would never wish it on anyone else) and they would always say: She doesnt care about you so stop caring about her. I wish I could ... Thank you for this video, although I feel like I have already been doing this recently subconsciously. (I also think a lot, so along with my "empath" traits, this makes me very...tired haha) I have set my boundary as "someone who listens to me when I speak". It sounds very sad haha but I just want someone who listens, not talking over me or dismissing the things I have to say. I want to be acknowledged, but it's hard in med school since everyone just wants to overpower each other (I can't do that haha) I'm working on it :)

  • @johnking2740

Rules and boundaries are all good and fine, but that would still leave the Empath/HSP vulnerable to all invading energy and emotions, no matter how enclosed the people are. Light Bubbles and boosted aura becomes stagnant fast, but a moving barrier is your own constant flow of energy, encompassing your personal space to protect and replenish yourself, it can even be placed around your own place of residence and is easy to make. An ability of the Empath/HSP is to be able to visualise. Visualise your own aura/energy flowing from you, then visualise that energy flowing around you in a clockwise direction like you are inside a cyclone/tornado (being the eye of the storm) and the storm is consisting of your own energy, keep moving your energy faster until it surrounds you and nothing can be let in without your consent. The more that people do this the easier it becomes to manifest.

How does an empath deal with a friend or person who moreso talks about themselves with little regard for how you feel, when you talk about yourself they manage to shift the conversation back to themselves and youve already communicated how it makes you feel. They are not doing it to hurt you but it does. What would the verbiage be to say to them... I feel so overwhelmed and resentful of these exchanges. This is why I tend to LOVE BEING ALONE.

Your neutral energy will calm them right down if you don't reflect what they send your way. You will create the balance between the exchange, you can identify it quick and make adjustments in leading what's said/felt, they have to also accommodate by changing pace or it dissolves the connection being on unequal grounds.

I've felt the need to talk to certain people through barely open doors or not make eye contact when they are angry or too emotional. I wonder what I'm feeling if I detect some one is a bad person. Energy vampires can attack from a great distance. Severing a connection with people next to you helps that you dont want to absorb or connect to. I often cannot go out in public or shopping unless my guard is up or I have had a drink first. I like learning about the senses so that I can not reach out or connect. I like this video thank you. Facebook can be a dangerous place too. So I'm trying to learn not to care if people get offended when I feel confident or closed orf. It bothers some people like I'm hiding something when I'm not.

It is really true that being an empath who has an open heart and an open mind to let all people in. An empath is always easily get hurt and manipulated. I am one of those being energetically absorbed, hurt and manipulated when come across the toxic people. How can an empath set a concrete boundary to protect himself/herself ?

I can relate to this. As you start to understand and trust yourself more, you will understand this better. We aren't socially inept or incapable of understanding people the way I've been told. It's all there, we just aren't born with the instinct to trust and use it, its something we usually have to learn the hard and difficult way.

I sense their energy is not right from the beginning but they always seem to “force” themselves into my life. Now I know I need to create strong boundaries and rules so I can now engage with the right type of people, instead of doing what I’m doing now and just not letting anyone get close to me.
