Safest Beach in south Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago has many beaches, in this video we take a road trip to what may be considered the safest beach in south Trinidad. Along the way we travel on part of the new highway extension and see part of the countryside on the outskirts of Rousillac. Although we lost our way we eventually reconnected with our desired route to the beach in La Brea, which is called Station Beach.

Wow, this beach has definitely changed from when I was a kid. Back then the water came all the way up to the yellow sand with big waves, that's why there is that concrete wall, meant to protect the magistrate's house. Nothing stays the same.

@@kamilahfigaro8909 Yes finding that beach is very easy and there are two routes. One way is to enter at the Pitch Lake side and just follow the road. The other route is to enter near the recreation ground (close to the road to Carat Shed) and again just follow the road. However both routes have some bad sections were you have to drive very slowly. I am glad you found it and on a day when the water was blue.

@@ianbynoe6515 I believe that is part of th reason because this beach is on the Gulf of Paria and so would have some of the river outflow in the rainly season. I also believe that the dark color is contributed to by the closeness of the Pitch Lake.
