Saenchai Destroying Cocky Fighters
Спорт
Why would any fighter disrespect Saenchai and be cocky in front of him? While no one except the fighters know, we can guess that to face the GOAT of Muay Thai, sometimes they need to overcompensate to overcome their fear. In these fights, it backfired! This episode features Saenchai destroying cocky fighters who dared to mock him.

the double kick is stupid and its extremely weak. ive watched a lot of this guy..... i think a lot of its fake and rigged. and theyre throwing potatoes at him for the $$$. let me not be misunderstood. obv. hes a beast. but this looks like youre throwing kids at tyson. Is he elite. fck yeah. is he untouchable. fuck no. just business.

You should take this video down. It's very biased. You can't disparage the taunting of Saenchai's opponents while ignoring the fact that Saenchai is famous for doing the same thing. In fact, his opponents are only taunting in retaliation for Saenchai's taunts. So his taunts aren't as playful as you may believe.
When Saenchai mocks his opponent it's "playful" and "entertaining", when his opponent mocks him it's "disrespectful" and "cocky"😂

Cocky fighters boast, they want to humiliate you. Masters playfully show your weaknesses, to humble you so you learn.
Man that fake low kick into head kick was a thing of beauty.

I don't think Saenchai have ever thought that any opponents who did "stunts" or "taunts" to him was disrespecful. He was still playful, even with his serious face.

I'm a 40 year old ex-Muay Thai practitioner, and I'm certain I've brought that up in this comment section before, but let me say that I love Lawrence's channel and his fight breakdowns. There's a *_lot_* of guys on KZread who do this - not a lot of them know what they're talking about even though they might claim, but this dude Lawrence provides some of the best I've come across, and I'm hella far from an expert. I took classes for 2 and a half years, so don't listen to me and my bullshit, I've just been in some fights. This dude gives you an education.

Saenchai is extraordinary, I'd love to see him and give my respect. And thanks to you Lawrence I discovered so many things about Muay Thai but also boxing and martial arts. So many fighters like Samart, Yodwicha, Dieselnoi, the list goes on and on. Respect to these fighters and to you for making them shine through time. I hope we will have the opportunity to see Saenchai again delivering mastery moments, perhaps while sparring with you man ! That'd be awesome ! Cheers !!

Amazing episode
Legend❤ absolutly beautiful technic
None of them being respectful. They’re simply entertaining the crowd. Saenchai did the same thing most of the times. The opponents just trying to match his energy
Having the guy who just head kicked you and put you to sleep come over and kiss your body in reboot mode is wild.
I usually hate this kind of video that includes talking because they just make a way to make the video longer. But bro you did an amazing job narrating the video with your analysis. 😊
Awesome bro
Hi Lawrence, what do you think of the recent Buakaw vs. Saenchai fight? It's bare knuckle muay thai with a few other rule changes, so I don't know if that really served as a disadvantage for Saenchai.
Good episode. I like it

Senchai sportsmanship is a 10 ,humility ,humble ,kindness towards his opponets but tough
Awesome video
First, good video, we love Saenchai. I much prefer seeing his questionmark kick to the cartwheel. It’s effective, gets KOs, it’s a spectacle of skill, and most importantly to me it doesn’t leave him exposed on the ground hoping the opponent doesn’t kick him in the face
This new way of talking about the great ones, nailed.
What's the intro music? Good video btw!
I think a lot of fighters lose against him is because of his reputation. It's a mind thing. He has that much confidence that instills fear in the opponent and they tighten up.
Smiled the whole video 😊
Wonderful!

Thanks
He “Ip Man-ed” the giant 😂😂😂
looked like buakaw was taking it easy out of kindness... saenchai showed his age during that one.
@traceurs619
5 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t say he’s showing his age. Buakaw is only younger than him by a couple yrs. The rules crippled his fighting style. But I did feel that he wasn’t as confident as usual fighting without gloves. Once he broke his finger early round 2, he was done for. He can’t catch kicks for counter knees/punches, he couldn’t really punch, struggled to do his cartwheel kick. Not to mention Saenchai wasn’t allowed to do sweeps or throws which is what he’s known for, but lost some possible advantages when he was thrown to the ground illegally because it separated them. Though I do have to say there were none when it was a toss from a high kick. Haha. He gambled with those
Usually, baiting a counter fighter to abandon patience and become more aggressive ends badly for the counter fighter. For Saenchai, it ends badly for his opponents.
Again I hit like button before watching
Thinking about how tough Muay Thai fighter's shins are, I can only imagine the impact it took to hurt Saenchai's. I wouldn't want to be the guy whose head was on the receiving end of that.
Saenchai is like "you want more ? I ll give you more". This cocky fighters are the best definition of fuck around and find out lmao
Insane , he is gifted.
That'$ the Fight 🥊
How can u not love this guy?
Please can you post a breakdown of Bas Rutten ? He has great striking: never been knocked out either.
I always admire when they apologise for low blows. You never see that shit in ufc
Losing to Saenchai is a privilege ❤
The win streak is broken, if bareknuckle counts
In fairness, Saenchai disrespects his opponents first by clowning them...and then gets mad when they clap back.
@pandapants3535
5 ай бұрын
He's always clowning around, It's in his nature but when another fighter that does not do this naturally tries to do it, it's definitely considered an insult. It's like a hyena trying to mock a lion, the lion is the king, the lion will destroy. It's called Muay Thai and sanchai is the king of muay thai
His style can switch from technician to counter to brawler
Cocky fighter - He's just a little guy ! Nurse - Hey you, you're finally awake.
The best ever. I thought he was going to retire after buakaw fight. So glad he didn’t 🙏🏻🙏🏻😂
Master Muay Thai warrior at another level altogether. Deep respect for him. 🙏
❤ it.....👍
He has well trained shoulders.
u had me at "asian JB" loool
Pure domination!!!!
The problem with respect in fighting is it’s just as dangerous as being too cocky. Someone who has too much respect will often hold punches or not take advantage of situations needed to win. Sometimes too much respect turns into fear.
