Sadie Robertson Dancing With The Stars - Duck Dynasty
Sadie Robertson once again wowed the judges on “Dancing With the Stars” Monday night, nabbing a near-perfect score for her “Duck Dynasty” themed samba - and she had a little help from her famed family members.

The dance started off with her father Willie and uncles Jase, Jep and Si Robertson sitting on the stage using duck callers.
Then, Robertson and partner Mark Ballas - decked out in duck-inspired costumes and camouflage - started strutting across the ballroom, scoring a 37 out of 40 for their high-paced performance.
In addition to the dance, Robertson made some notable comments about her family and her faith.
In a video package that aired before the performance, the 17 year old said that her most memorable year was 2012 when “Duck Dynasty” exploded in popularity.
“I didn’t realize how big it was going to be,” she said.
Fame and fortune aside, Robertson made it clear that the family’s Christian faith is its driving force, carrying its members through both the good and the bad times.
“My family would not be where we are without our faith. That’s what’s carried us this whole way,” she said. “You know, we put our faith in God and we like to share that with everybody”

She added, “We’re going to be a family, we’re going to love each other - and we’re going to do what God says to do.”
While Robertson described the benefits of fame in the footage, she also addressed some of the pitfalls, specifically the controversy surrounding her grandfather Phil Robertson’s past comments about homosexuality.
“Everybody knows who you are and they’re looking for you to mess up,” she said of fame. “My grandpa said some things that upset some people and the press came after him.”
“We’re going to love each other - and we’re going to do what God says to do.”
Robertson said that it was difficult watching her grandfather get attacked and that the controversy following his December 2013 comments led the family to reconsider doing “Duck Dynasty.”
“The thing is, no matter what he would have said we should have stuck by him, because he’s my grandpa,” Sadie said. “Yeah, he’s very opinionated, but he’s my family and family sticks together.”

People did not "tackle" her grandfathers comments just because he was in the public eye (holding football). He made genuinely bigoted, uneducated comments. He was tackled because he was a bigot, not because he was in the public eye.

Whatever they are insulting and calling him names for. I've listened to him and he very intelligent, but people don't understand the wisdom that he speaks. And even though he gets called names and gets insulted, he doesn't change to suit his insulters and name callers.

Valley Stina If he actually has wise things to say, he's already ruined his credibility with these ridiculous and offensive statements he's made. So it would be hard to take him seriously at this point. And pointing out someone's offensive claim is not "name calling" or "insulting".
Legendary. This is one of the dances you still remember a decade later

No family should force its member to accept psychological and verbal violence. Sticking together and civilized behavior are two different things. No family culture should be above the law, and a danger to other people. That is fundamentally criminal behavior.

Why do some people get so offended when Christians share their faith publicly? I don't get it? If you don't agree with her then don't but don't judge her for it. How does that make you any better? Stop trying to dig the splinter out of her eye get the log out of your own. Sadie and the Robertsons are the real deal. They are loving, caring, generous people who deserve the blessings they've been given by God! I'm pulling for you Sadie!

Not so much that I'm offended, as much as it annoys me. Annoys me because if US Christians fully followed Christ's teachings the USA and the world would be in better place right now. I have no problem with accumulating wealth, but it's wrong when it's accumulated at the expense of others. So many Christians do see where the policies the appear to support hurt others, and when it's pointed out, they continue using a blind eye to ignore it. Even when the cost to the individual to be fair is often nearly infinitesimal. As far as the Robertons go, if I still hunt where call would be beneficial, if their worked as well as advertised I'd purchase one, but there licensed mug and names on other merchandise is reason for me to pass those by. I hadn't over air TV since the switch to digital, nos CATV or Satelitte since 2013 so I have never watch the pro gram to judge if they are who abd others say they are. They probably not ignorant, so the most likely make sure they present themselves to their core audience in a manner that expects or demands.

exactly!!! No one gets offended when for example feminists or supporters of gay marriage share their beliefs...why can't christians do the same??? Sadie is adorable and has a great head on her shoulders! Everything she says comes off in a non-forcefull way

I believe it is because we get it wrong. Instead of declaring I am a Christian I try to emulate how Jesus lived on earth. He never went around saying hay I am a Christian and I know everything. He was compassionate, showed grace and often lived the word. If we did more things and talked a lot less we would attract more folk into the body of Christ.

Not enough good things can be said about the Robertsons, what a wonderful family with great kids. I just love Sadie and Mark's routines. She is such an energetic and positive young lady, you can't help but love her!!!
I think this was the best dance she's done so far!
NOT a fan of Duck Dynasty in the least, but in watching her dances I have to say, I respect her. I like her name too... Kind of old fashioned and a little sassy and I think that it describes her well. It's refreshing to see a teenager with strong faith and family values who is out there having fun, showing people that you can be a Christian and still enjoy life as God intended us to, without having to lose it like most celebs do. Well done!

This was the dance that hooked me on Dancing With the Stars!
Whoever choreographs her dances has filled them all with awkward moves that even the best dancers can't pull off without looking clumsy, but she owns everything she does and it all flows into smooth performance. I love watching her - she has such a great energy that radiates at all times.

***** Flexed feet and hands, knees pointing toward each other, toes pointed inward, elbows in the air - those are awkward moves, which some choreographers love because it goes in the face of what is considered smooth choreography. Whatever their experience and reasoning, it still looks awkward.

TheEnergyMagic The dance was supposed to be themed for duck dynasty (her familys show), hence why those "awkward" moves were used - they are moves that simulate the mannerisms of a duck, and go with the whole theme of the dance.

What people SAY they believe, and what people actually do, are two VERY different things.
this is actually one of my fav dances of the season :) idk what it is about it it just makes me smile cause it's so fun. Vote for sadie and mark!

totally but is like this week with alfonso, they mixed the choreography with the song and the beat and judges want em to be true to the style but this kinda creativity is wht i like and respect when is executed well

Sadie is a precious angel and they're raising her in a good Christian home with good Christian morals we may not all agree with things they say and do but we can agree to disagree that they are good people and raising their children to be good citizens parenting is not an easy job

Cheryl Overmyer Alfonso is over rated in my opinion. Most of his dances look like variations of the Carlton. His flamenco was pretty good but he seems limited in variety. Plus, I don't see him gathering the voting block that Sadie, Bethany and Janel have with all those twitter followers. Lea will probably not make the finals because of the voting which is a tragedy because overall she is the best dancer this year.

Cheryl Overmyer Yes, at this point he is leading in judge's scores. But once we get down to 5 couples and the judges are giving them all great scores, the fan voting becomes so important and the Bethany, Sadie and Janel massive social media power will rear it's ugly head. Bethany has 2.2M twiiter followers; Sadie 1.4 and Janel nearly a million as examples of that power. I do agree with you regarding Derek, he is truly the best there is and if it comes down to the freestyle, as it usually does, he will take Bethany to the win for sure. Mark is an excellent choreographer and has done Sadie right (up to last night), but he does not do freestyles well, in my opinion. Your comment regarding Sadie's talent without experience is spot on. I don't think we've ever seen a more naturally talented dancer than Sadie. Kellie Pickler was a natural to, but not like this young lady. I still think Sadie will win, even with Mark. Although, I have to admit, Bethany, after her killer paso last night, is starting to look like the front runner.

Why must we always be so critical of each other? It seems there is nothing we can do or say and not be criticized with vile language and always hearing how stupid we are. Are we all so miserable or hateful or whatever that we always have to tear someone else down for their looks, their way of life, their talent, their beliefs, where they live, how much money they have etc.? I'm glad nobody else who thinks and acts like me; that would be a boring world. Let's just celebrate that there is someone like Sadie and be glad for her.
This is definitely a dance that will go down in DWTS history. The costumes, music and Mark's quirky take on the samba are all incredible. Can't stop watching!

This was my favorite dance performance of all time on DWTS. I sure do miss Mark Ballas, his dance interpretation is untouchable
turned into a very pretty young lady, I do not dance, but I like to watch people do all kinds of dances that aren't slow dances, unlike most people I find dancing funny, and it gives me the giggles
This is cute because her family was there and the boys are sitting up there with Mark and they blowed the duck calls
What's hysterical to me is I never knew until this moment that Sadie was on duck dynasty or on dancing with the stars... haha I just love her motivational talks and her KZread channel and I saw she was in a Bates music video which I stupidly thought "oh cool! Maybe now more people will know who she is" which brought me to this video... lol guess you learn something new everyday. Haha
She's gonna be a heart breaker .... thank God she has that family behind her.
