Your Great Grandma is so full of wisdom, and yet she is humble and not at all boastful! Thanks so much for sharing her with us. Even at 68 years old, I learned so much from her on this podcast! I plan to watch it again, tomorrow. Also, Sadie, you do a great job as an interviewer and ask just the right questions. I often wonder how you think of the important questions that you ask. It shows that you are wide beyond your years.

Crazy that this episode comes out now. I’ve been blessed to have my great-grandmother as one of my dearest friends in life, but in the last couple days, we’ve found it’s her time to go be with Jesus. We’re waiting now on the hour she’s called home. While I understand, it still hurts. However, God’s good grace is getting me through, and there’s peace that He’s never leaving me. I had a lady from my church who was like your great grandma, she was the one that I went to for advice and just to talk to she was my church grandma and even in my wedding! She was 95 and she gave me some of the best advice for life and left a legacy and this podcast with your mawmaw reminded me of that! Thank you for this Sadie❤️

Isn’t she though?! I’m 16 and literally can relate with everything she talks about on her podcasts. It’s always so meaningful and understandable! She’s like my number one role model in my life! I first found out about her on Duck Dynasty when she was in her teenage years, and then she was on dancing with the stars (and almost won!! 🤩) and then now she has a book that I just got for Christmas called “Live Original”...ah she’s just so so cool!

First time I’ve listened to your podcast. At 71 yrs old, I thought it was great! Your grandma is very, very wise. Young people need to listen to the older gen. We have lived through life and experienced these problems, the wisdom we’ve learned should not go to waste.

Sadie, I sincerely hope that you understand the LEGACY you have been given through the older women in your family! As one who has ALWAYS felt the LACK of that and EVEN sought it out from OTHERS not blood sisters due to feeling the lack in MY life, yet NEVER having found it, I can SEE how INCREDIBLY you have been BLESSED! God PROVIDES exactly what HE KNOWS we EACH NEED and has not seen fit to provide such for me, so far, but THAT has caused ME to seek harder to BE, what I NEVER was BLESSED to enjoy! God is SO GOOD!

The Best Advice that I ever received was from my father in law (R.I.H Karl Hines) my husband and I were arguing about, something I can't remember now, but He told me " he said stop and ask yourself, Will what we are arguing about matter tomorrow, will I still love this man even after the argument" and each time my husband and I (married 30 years this year and dated 5 years before marriage) would argue I would stop and ask myself will I even care about this argument tomorrow, will I still love this man tomorrow? My answer for 30 years has been YES I will still love him tomorrow and most of the arguments we have had was NO this argument will not matter tomorrow so why bother getting so over angry about it when tomorrow it won't matter anyway. Mama's no is a very wise lady. My mom's parents were married for 73 years till his passing in September of 2011. I had asked him what there secret was to having such a long union in marriage. Grandpa lester Jones told me to never argue. Instead he would tell grandma if she was upset with him that he was going up to his garage to tinker around for a while. Then he said after an hour or so tinkering around in the garage that he would come back into their house and set down with grandma to talk through their disagreement. He said to never go to bed mad. Grandpa told me you have to always talk through your issues that you may have with your loved one.
