How to Guard Your Heart Without Damaging Relationships | Sadie Robertson Huff | Sisters & Friends

Sadie's grandma and great-grandma, 2Mama, 69, and Mamaw Jo, 91, are so fun and full of life that you'll be excited to grow older! Sadie kicks it off with a game of This or That, and then Mamaw Jo and 2Mama bring their wisdom on relationships, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. They get deep into how social media, mobile devices, and even AC have made life easier AND disconnected us from authentic relationships. And they share such good advice about respect, community, and how to guard your heart and value the things that are truly valuable.

That’s incredible that Sadie has a great-grandmother, and Honey a great-great-grandmother. I thought great-grandparents was as far as you could get as to knowing relatives who are alive. How incredible. ❤️

I loved hearing your Great Grandmother speak about the dance clubs. I haven’t heard the names of , “ Harry James, “Tommy Dorsey” in a long time.💕. My Dad was a jazz buff and I grew up listening to them as well as Bix Beiderbecke, and Muddy Waters.

I don’t have a good relationship with my mom who’s 69 due to her mental health and her emotional abuse she has never taken responsibility for…she says she “knows” Jesus but her personal life doesn’t match it:( Her pride or whatever it is, has kept her from getting help and ALWAYS thinks it’s everyone else…Just sad 😔 I’ve tried to love her like Jesus would want me to but I’ve come to yet another time in my life where I’ve had to take another break from her. Of course she keeps calling and leaving messages about why I won’t talk to her and I’m just so over it! Jesus knows my heart 💜 and that’s all that matters but it still hurts. Jesus has given me a spiritual mom to help fill the gap, which has soothed this heart of a 39 year old woman who’s just prayed for years for my Mom…So encouraging seeing these different generations in your family Sadie love each other and Jesus:) Thanks for all you and your team do to encourage so many people around the world 🌎

God loves u all sm God bless any prayer requests or any questions? God sent his only son to die for u so live for Him (not trying to force) Gods got u and is in ur corner always, fighting for u, and the best way for u to fight is on your knees, praying. Start with journaling, prayer, worship, turn off bad music, verses, living like the fruit of the spirit each day. Nobody is perfect except Jesus. Its okay to make mistakes, we all do. Feel free to reach out nd talk for anything. ask God for wisdom in every situation. God loves u and so do i. Have a blessed day friend. Some of my fav verses: Matthew 19:26, John 3:16, Isaiah 30:21. Pick 1 fruit of the spirit today, and practice and live by it in all areas. Invite God into your life, every aspect and area. Trust the story because you know the author. If there is any prayers I can pray for y'all pls lmk!

I think social media creates a lot of "the comparison game". It can be very damaging for children and teens. I just don't think the emotional stable enough for the "overload".

Wow girl , u surely are BLESSED! AS I siT here, AND WATCH UR FAMILY , I STAND wrongfully!!!!! and illegally!!!!! seperated from my little girls due to narcissistic family abusive dynamic, I can't think how truly blessed u are , the family court system is corrupt, esp If the child father is abusive millionaire and u have been scapegoat in a narcissistic famimy dynamic since childhood, I wonder how will I ever forgive , the Bible says and God says forgive everyone they way we want 5o be given forgiveness by the lord, to honor ur mother and father , not wish bad on ur child's father who left ur daughter to be touched , and u feel helpless but don't give faith I. God ,how would I ever forgive my family after all the abuse they put my my children and I through, what would u do if u came from jezebel spiteful family and u were isolated bc u were prophetic and called out the dysfunctional dynamic so then they turn on u and blame and shame and scapegoat in fear of family image being ruined , what would u do sadie , ur younger than me but I look up to u girl, how would u ever forgive a family or child father who hurt honey , esp If it was ur mother , or child father or auntie , like my own family really really really hurt us , can u teach us women how to forgive dark jezebels in ur family ? Please i need help from a real Christian woman, prayers up please , God bless u and ur family!
