I’m an HVAC tech my dude, you can run the ac all you want but if you don’t have very good air flow it’s not gonna help as much. Also, the ac pulls the humidity out over time, but until it does it won’t be able to get to a much lower temperature. Get a fan and a dehumidifier and you’ll be able to control the temperature much better with that mini-split AC you have.

Just a quick tip, for the T's that need cooler temps, keep them closer to the floor. Hot air rises so lower to the floor would be coolest place.

Will kill it. in the freezer there is no oxygen, the tarantula will sleep due to high carbon dioxide and never wake up again.

You need more air flowing threw the enclosures, they seem to close together and since they are bioactive in some respects they are emitting more isolated heat than the ac unit can deal with. Id reccomend having less inclosures or more space between them

Temp with moist substrate creates super high humidity spikes. With condensation at night with cooler temps. That specie doesnt do well with moisture spikes

When they’re all out at high noon, at the peak of the day, you’ve got a wide-scale problem. It’s not just a single spider issue. Having cared for them as long as you have, you should well-know that they should be in their burrows, hiding in the daytime & only coming out at night to feed. As you scanned your tanks, I saw each & every spider out except for the male. That should tell you there’s a major problem & if you don’t address it, and quick, you’re going to lose more. Given the fact that they’re all out, I would say you have a temperature problem; as they’re too hot, going to the surface/open to try & cool down, or you could have a mold problem with the heat & humidity. That’ll certainly kill them. But, that’s my guess. FYI, you have one that’s dying & you are pouring alcohol over it’s container, that has HOLES in it. I really don’t think the fumes and/or liquid seeping through those holes are a big help... Just saying for future consideration.

I think, just a thought; that you might improve the ventilations a bit more to make them get the cold air better.. The enclosures that you use have just a single set of air intake, so if you could make them three sides air passageways it would make them get the fresh air better I guess.

Some people might walk into a keepers room, and notice a couple of specimens preserved in jars of solution, they would think "damn thats a sick bastard he kills them and keeps a few in the jars as trophies" but really we keep them around, because we want to remember the fun times we had with the ts, and why they were one of our most impressive or favorite ones. It's funny how perspective can change a lot of things. Glad to see you still have a positive outlook on this whole death situation, Exotics.

Why is it that people who deliberately keep spiders and snakes never get bitten by them, but people who innocently go about their business, not interested or aware of their presence are the ones they choose to bite.

Darken the room block the sun light so it won't heat up the room so much. Tint your windows or cover them.

It’s entirely possible they are not getting enough ventilation and the little A/C unit you have isn’t able to cope with the temperatures in summer, you might need a fan to help disperse the cooler air. A/C units aren’t the best at regulating humidity either.
