What a flashback-for a few reasons. But going into those electronic shops in the 80s (or dealing with movers) in NYC was a real exercise in verbal jujitsu. You REALLY had to have a tolerance for yelling. And be willing to walk out the door.

This reminds me when I bought my first car. Car stereo salesmen would follow me until I parked in a parking lot, pull up behind me, and open their trunk full of stereos, amps, and speakers.
