Random story: roughly 10 years ago Dragonforce played a small venue in northern Italy (the New Age). I was there. After the show the blokes were partying with the crowd. I remember approaching Sam who, go figure, was a bit tipsy and hilarious. So anyway, "Oi Sam, do you happen to have a pick? Big fan here." I said. He turned to me, reaching inside his pocket and gave me a 50 eurocent coin, then he went "Nah, sorry mate...you can keep that." True story.

lol I can believe it xD They were late to an SF show so the meet and greet turned into an afterparty. Sam was blasted 2 minutes in. Soo drunk he signed my friends guitar strap 3 times.

As a Japanese rock fan, I keep getting confused because when I hear or see Plastic Tree my mind automatically thinks of the band. Takes a few seconds to remember they are talking about the Nightwish style song they wrote.

I didn't know it was Edguy who helped Sabaton's carreer start-off, it's so nice to see that all my favorite bands seem to be friends :-) ! Now I'm so excited to see "Dragonforce writes an Edguy/Avantasia song in 10 minuts"!

So Sam is just chillin' with a Neumann TLM103 and Herman with a AKG 414. Those are expensive mics for just streaming and what not! Awesome!

Love both bands. The last show seen before the COVID mess was Dragonforce in LA. In 2019, I saw Sabaton in LA.

I was there... back in 2006... Dragonforce and Edguy tour!! Suddenly a band who never heard before opened the gig... since than, Sabaton smashed my heart of steel \m/_

No wonder I love Sabaton so much. Crazy, wonderful Sabaton.

I saw a show at the London Astoria on your first tour together. Because of a mix-up with taxis, my friends and I got in just as Sabaton were finishing their set. It was years later when I finally learned what an opportunity I missed :'(

Parodying Powerwolf is like parodying Man'o'War. You most certainly can, but that's redundant. They're already a parody of the genre to a degree. And I love both bands dearly. I mean, Resurrection By Erection, man. It's hard to top it off :D
