Oh if you ever watch Sabaton behind the scenes videos, you will hear I think it's Chris and Pär, talk about how their fingers are all busted up. I think that Chris was playing with a blister or that it broke at one point. Ah but he even play with a pneumonia, so.... Hardcore to the soul those guys! Everything for their fans. Thank you again for keeping the reactions strong :) Enjoying all of it! It's my favorite music and you bring it to me at the start of my day, so much appreciated! This song too, its great, and the history for it aswell. Surprise to say the least, for those who lost that. And after you have seen the history it will all be clear. And no, I dont think America got involved. Too busy in other wars at the time. Was it Korea at this time? Or maybe Vietnam already? Ah not 100% on those years there.

This song is about the Six Days war in 1967. Its... a complicated situation, Id advice looking into it yourself for a fuller picture, but as a highly simplified form, tensions were mounting between Israel and its Arab neighbors, such as reportedly massive concentrations of enemy troops forming up along their borders. Believing an invasion was immanent, Israel launched a surprise attack against Egypt in the form of an air raid against the Egyptians that would put them into a war against a coalition of Egypt, Syria and Jordan. Israeli air power would do wonders at crippling the enemy armed forces (hence the general airforce theme of the song), eliminating roughly 90% of the entire Egyptian air force before it could even take off. Over the course of the next 6 days, Israel would fight the three nations, and in the end they came out on top, gaining territory approximately 4 times its original size and utterly humiliating their enemies. The situation is much more complex and complicated than this, and theres a lot of controversy surrounding the war (especially with the fact that Israel attacked first, while claiming Egypt was the first to fire), but whats certain is that Israel certainly did prove themselves a force to be reckoned with.

@@kingseb2252 And thats a completely fair viewpoint to have. Personally, I try to not get mixed up in the, quite frankly, messy politics behind it all, but from what I have read, it does seem quite likely that an attack against Israel was going to come sooner or later.

The sabaton history video had a pretty good looking battle map as well. It was very animated and was pleasing to look at aesthetic-wise. Thanks again friend :)

I am for sure, it's been giving me grief (my fault mainly) ever since I first recorded it! I accidentally deleted my intro footage and when I uploaded, I noticed my voice wasn't coming through (my fault again while editing). I appreciate your comment since not a lot care to tune-in to the history video!
