Thanks a lot for this gorgeous video. The Tunnan is one of my favorite plane. Its atypical shape enchanted my youth and adolescence later when i dreamed of Mig 15, Sabre, Draken and, of course, J 29. I am working on the Heller's J29 kit. Despite its age and raised pannel lines, it is still a nice kit to own in any collection. Thanks again for this beautiful pictures. Sheers from France.

I am getting one in 1/48 from Pilot Replicas, 6 times as expensive but two times larger, amazing surface detail, and a PE fret.

So such of a moderate plane of its time, it was just the amazing J29. Could exceed M1.0 in a shallow dive, could reach almost 15 km in heights. Very well, job done fine, others almost outclassified, and all got it in.

Hörde från en kollega att detta var det bästa jetmotor-ljudet han någonsin hört. Och han har hört en Draken starta. Vet inte vad för sjukdom det är han har.

That is just somethig good. I could not even believe it. J29 fer eva.! ))=D

I love the Tunnan. I hope to see one fly one day. It looks similar to the Focke-Wulf Ta 183 Huckebein but according to what I've read their developments were not connected. Thank you for posting this video.

she might be called barrel but she is beautiful and really flies like a swift

For a short period of time. This was the fastest plane in the wourld. From little Sweden. 6 million people.

In Sweden we just still trust.=)) Saab J-29 looks out ugly, its motor roars like hell but this sweet machine can even kill also.

Did the photographer sleep during take-off? Just showing the people in front of a hangar isnt very interesting! Youd better not put up this video for showing!
