Finally, something "new" that I'm actually interested in. Maybe it's just my desire to go back in time intensifying, but all the polymer/tacticool/red dot all the things type of stuff is pretty boring now with all the options out there that are so similar. Not turning into a fudd by any means, but it's nice to see something like this return.

Fudd is a state of mind. I like 1911s, and I put myself on the local gunshop's waiting list for the SA35. I'm not a Fudd either. Nobody is a Fudd, until they're willing to let others be disarmed so long as their "hunting rifles" are fine.

Yeah, this is definitely going to be at the top of my list to get! It looks solid and oh so clean!

During my time, this configuration (Browning Hi-Power) was partnered with my SLR L1A2/FN FAL and they were a formidable trio in terms of range covered from 10-300+ metres from the tropical jungles to the suburbs/villages with reliability.

@@randylahey2242 My guy I get what your saying but the Xd’s are under the Springfield Armory umbrella and as far as 2a, I will have to do research to really condemn them because I don’t know for sure that they really do support it. Can’t just tell people who to support, just suggesting to look into their history and background is more affective than force. XD are my favorite rn and they have a hand in that brother.

TFBs video was compelling enough to put me on a waiting list for this one 👌🏽

After waiting 1 1/2 years myncall finally came and I picked my SA35. Very clean fit and finish. I also have a Terry Tussey tuned Browninf High Power. Since I've retired thr Browning, I swapped the sear and hammer from the tuned Browning to the SA35. Fits and functioned checked it. Works. Now I have a new SA 35 with an instant tuned Terry Tussey trigger! Also have some old Browning HP magazines with Pachmayr bumper pads. Thr SA35 comes with 1 flush fit magazine so I bought 4 more and swapped the base plates with the bumper pads so I now have SA35 magazines woth impossible to find bumper pads on them.

Return of the Hi-Power.

I do look forward to this pistol . I was lucky enough to have the Canadian Military pay for my 9mm ammo while competing with the Browning Hi power. The only pistol to never lose a battle as it was used by both the Allies and Axis.

Would like to see a railed version. Unfortunately will be hard to compete with 9mm chambered 1911 variants. The extra capacity with a rail would be nice. Need a threaded barrel as well. I’m buying one regardless.

I was shooting my dads Inglis made Hp when I was15, then when I was 18 and had my own FAC I had the new Mk2 FN made one for Christmas.....how lucky was I. Then the UK government stole them from us, Would love one of these for my old dad this christmas, and a few hundred rounds of RG 2z ammo.

I did in 1991. I bought a Colt Delta Elite on the way home from swear in. I own an SA-35 which has retired my FN Hi-Power to the gun safe..

So gorgeous. I want one. But, more importantly, SA just became my favorite gun company. I love the heritage aspect of firearms and Springfield has that in spades with a modern Garand, modern 1911s, and now and updated Hi Power. I hope many will join me in making this a success. But I also have selfish reasons. Imagine SA continuing this line of heritage firearms with a modern Luger using a staggered magazine and modern sights!? Yummy. And then maybe a Nagant revolver strengthened to shoot .327 Federal Magnum and with a trigger humans can actually pull. Pinch me, I'm having a happy dream. And how about the Springfield Broomhandle? Frabjous joy. I won't hold my breath. But I will personally write to Santa.
