Very nice video. Thanks My 09 Spyder belt was broken and I plan to replace with a new one and I think I will open the back fender like you did and slide the new belt to the rear sprocket that way. I don’t know how I will hook the new belt to the front sprocket yet, so you have an idea or advice? Thanks and nice day.

YOU CAN TAKE THE HUB OFF WITHOUT REMOVING BRAKE ROTOR ETC.

Must admit I would have plugged the hole from the outside (or taken it to the workshop) getting slack as I get older ;)

I hope it helps my wife figure out how to change the back tire on her Spyder...you know, equality and all!

Wouldn't think so. Use Murphy's Lube er even butter might even work. All those rubber parts are just shock absorbers so ya don't snap yer neck off yer head from a stop sign. 😁

Installing the brake rotor first then abusing it rocking back & forth with it (rotor) against the floor. DON'T DO THIS ! "Engineered Channel" that's a joke, right ? Did you measure the disc for run-out after you bent it ? Wet the cush drive isolators with isopropyl to enable assembly.

Agree 100 percent. You need to install the rotor last. I used two boards under the rim to install the belt pulley. You can also do it without loosening the belt tensioners.
