S2 EP15 | WOODWORK | HOW TO BUILD A DIY WOODEN WALKWAY

Фильм және анимация

#woodenwalkway #howto #DIY
In this DIY video, I am building a wooden walkway using pieces cut from the logs for the timber frame cabin as stepping stones in the woods of the Great Smoky Mountians that is an inexpensive design and landscaping idea. The remaining logs would have been burned as firewood, but were put to good use in a pathway from the drive to the tiny house. Stay tuned for more ideas from the timber frame cabin series.

You are very welcome. I think if anyone wants to learn anything they can certainly do that by KZread. But as for the rest of the comment on values And work ethics I fear are diminishing because people feel they are entitled.

Sorry it wasn’t what you expected. I just try and film what I’m working on. I have went back and forth on two types of viewers, those that don’t like much talking and those that do. Over the life of the channel the majority like minimal talk, and more entertainment. I do more talking now just to satisfy myself now and those that watch fine, and those that don’t fine. It was really simple. Cut your blocks the size you like, the pattern you want and fill in with the grout you choose. It’s actually go now and a yard of grass just planted in its place.

Fabric yes. I also put gravel. And, black earth maybe even a sand bed. This clay is pretty hard and shale underneath here.

@@SmokyMountainOutpost I have seen old rail road ties cut up and used this way. And streets in Pensacola where paved with them. But these where the old heavy creosote coated timbers used this way. And still look like new after 100 years. But even burning them, am curious how how they would endure. We have a lot more rain here than most areas. So doubt they would last long here. But I might give this a try. I just found your channel and appreciate you putting your content out there! Looking forward to following and catching up on your content! Cheers!
