Atta boy! I've been saving for 3 years now. Just over half way now (disabled EMT, fixed income lol). I'm going to have to do it myself...other wise I'd probably take another year or two lol. I'm nervous because it's difficult to stand for more than 10 mins or so at a time. But these cams seem pretty straightforward. I have no issues with the mechanics, just the physical. Anyway, just excited at the possibility!

I'm in N FL. I would! But I had to spend the $ I saved on my dog. Totally worth it....but now I'll never get any cams. But my 4 legged daughter is okay!

great job!! was it hard putting in the cams yourself or would you recommend going to a professional? where did you find the instructions to install cams?

I've been turning wrenches and building cars and bikes for years as a hobby so this was far from difficult. If you ever feel uneasy about tackling a job, seek professional help. I don't know where the instructions were as I did this years ago. I'm sure there are instructions floating around the internet.

Cams in these 05-09 4.6L cars is a couple hours and a six pack, tops. Much easier/quicker install than the old 302 motors or SBCs.

LeagueofAverageGamers what's slow to you? 4.6 can still reach 700+ without much problem. Not as efficiently as the coyote, but still not difficult. Plus, if you're not running at the track, and stay NA, who really needs more than 400hp? That's far from slow.
