Love my Shield Plus, i just have the base model since i dont use an optic on my carry gun .. i paid $349 new after $50 rebate and then i purchased an extra 13rd and 15rd mag. Its my favorite edc Great choice !

@Steve-Goff TheMagShack .. look them up online .. in the search bar type "shield plus" and you will see all the mags listed, the 15rd will fit the shield plus and the shield equalizer ... they have great customer service and fast shipping

I find the Shield Plus much more shootable than the P365's in general. I like both platforms but, my Plus is the one that goes with me everywhere.

You're gonna like it if you like the original. It's hard to describe exactly, but I find the Shields shoot more like "real" guns whereas the P365's shoot more like "tiny" guns - they're a bit harder to hold on to and they have more recoil. But you're giving up some size and weight by going to the slightly heavier Shield. Everything's a tradeoff.@@Steve-Goff

Great video 💪 yeah the Shield Plus is an excellent EDC pistol. I loved shooting it the few times I have at the range. I really liked the trigger.

- I had an original shield for years. Switched to the P365. Once the Shield Plus came out, I knew I wanted one of them

Look into the pierce add-on grip extension for that 10 round clip it make a world of difference. I think the shield plus is the best edc option such a great and very very accurate pistol.

I have both and love each one, but I shoot the shield a little better. Just feels a little better in hand. All personal preference. I do tend to push way left on the p365 unless I have my index finger well over the trigger. Both awesome guns though. Can’t go wrong with either one. Good review.

- I really liked my original Shield. It sat in my safe for a couple of years after I got my P365 so I got rid of it. I haven’t had a chance to shoot the Shield Plus. It’s been way too cold here.

I never part with any pistol, as they are all wonderful in their own special way. I enjoy the ownership of all of them, and look for like minded channels. I never subscribe to a channel when they say I got rid of this gun and that gun. Don’t you have enough food to eat?@@Steve-Goff

Talon rubber grips makes a world of difference.I have them on almost all of my semi auto pistols.I have a set on my Shield Plus.I highly recommend them.

The Shield plus texturing is perfect imo, what don't you like about it?

I am STILL carrying my Walther PPS because I love the smooth-ish texture and the glow sights that came with my 'LEO' model. I am, however, planning on upgrading to the Shield plus pretty soon. It's my understanding that Talon Grips makes softer, applique, grips to mitigate the Shield's rough texture, fyi

- I carry a P365 and the grip texture is way more aggressive than the Shield Plus. Talon makes 2 different grips. One is really aggressive. Almost like sandpaper or skateboard tape. The other is like a soft rubber

- I need to pick up a couple of the 15 round magazines. I’ve actually had the Shield Plus about a month and still haven’t made it to the range with it. Had holidays then it’s been 25 below zero for the past couple of weeks

@@Steve-Goff Shot mine a few days ago trigger little gritty but smoothed out after like 100 rounds. Only issue was with the 13 round magazine why I bought the 15s no issues.

Thanks for the video! Quick question. The cut for the optics. That little lid that you can remove.... Is that polymer or metal?

- it’s polymer. Most people who are buying this model are removing it and putting a red dot on

I can’t believe out of all these years. People still never figured out what to do with that 8R sleeve. two drops of crazy glue would’ve solve that issue, immediately SMH

- I honestly never carried the 8 round magazine more because of the length it added to the grip. That additional round wasn’t worth how much longer it made the grip.

For an extra 20 bucks you get the EDC Bundle. You probably didn't get the carry option

- it’s a special package called the EDC bundle. Honestly, the knife and flashlight are junk. I never even took them out of the zippered bag

No screwdriver needed for takedown. Use your pinky nail on the sear disconnect.

I just went to pick up my shield plus at the store today and parts fell out when we were looking at it. There were parts inside the gun that weren’t even attached and just fell apart. I am concerned about what is happening to Smith & Wesson.

How much is Masada Slim for? Masada Slim is a lot better than Shield Plus.

@@farhan.naushad I don't think the Masada slim is a lot better than the shield plus but it has its advantage and disadvantage nevertheless they are both great. The Masada slim is cheaper here by 100-150 USD less. In the USA it is a different story, a lot less.

I shot both at the range but for some reason the Glock 43x is the better shooter for me.

- there’s a lot of things that factor into that including grip angle, grip size, bore axis, barrel length, etc. It’s always a good idea to go to a range and rent a few different pistols to see what works for you

- lol. I’ve received several strikes from KZread with them thinking I’m trying to sell guns or ammo because I say the price of what I paid. I’ve won every appeal but it’s still a PITA
