I loved driving around Iceland while listening to Solstafir and Katla. The music makes more sense if you ever visited the country.

Indeed. I didn't like Sólstafir in the beginning. When I was in Iceland with my friends, they played some of the songs and I fell in love.

Can't understand a single word, still can't stop listening to it. This is what i call magic.

Yes, KZread, of course I would LOVE to watch commercials during that awesome song...

As for beautiful places in your own countries, well that's very true. But there are very few that are so consistently foreign, exotic and alien as this place is, except if you go to perhaps Antarctica. The untouched beauty is just phenomenal.. I just hope it remains 'untouched' in this ever changing world.

And he played the burning piano for as long as he could but the wind direction was not in his favour, blowing the flames right into his face.

I like how your videos convey this very organic and "close to nature" atmosphere. It might sound a bit overly emotive, but they somehow let you smell the cold air and feel the wet earth under your fingernails - if that makes any sense.

I saw em in Brooklyn in 2014 during the Otta world tour. It was so vibrant and unforgettable

what a great band of four Vikings... this song is one of my favorites. Sólstafir make really interesting music, i love the sound of their magical guitars. melancholy is not a bad thing... listening to this music takes place somewhere between the heart and mind. Iceland, i owe you my heart!!

I remember playing this song when the plane started it's landing in Iceland. The slow part in the beginning was the moment the plane started to decent closer to the clouds, when it got fast the island became in sight ❤

For me this is like short movie. Both music and video are so great I can't separate them. Amazing job!

+AntiHero cold...not too much, only -10 when is really cold, but the most of time is around 0 in winter...but...rain, nearly every day, wind over 60 kilometers per hour. In winter only 4 hours of daylight, in summer 21 hours of daylight (sunset at midnight :D )....you want to still live on Íslandi? :)

Everytime love you guys great albume.

Now, that's a fine example of what one could call "music of finest quality". While most minds won't get a single word out of the lyrics (except of those that know the language), the heart gets all the meaning once the first note is played without even trying to do so. Add the mesmerising video which accompanies the song, and you have three senses being indulged to the most: Vision, Hearing and the Inner Sense that's coming through the heart. If one could watch this music video while being in a natural place just like in the vid, then you would also have Touch indulged, 'cause there's nothing better when you get in touch with nature. :) This song made me felt so peaceful, and this was the 1st time I listened to it. Now I wonder what the heck was I doing in my life that kept me away from finding it for so long. XD
