This live performance was my ticket into the world of KEXP. It was sometime in mid-2015 when this live performance played itself on KZread behind another song for me. I don't know why. I don't listen to that style of music. But I'm extremely glad for it. It's how I got to know KEXP. Where I regularly search for new music. And I also started listening to Sólstafir even though I wouldn't have listened to that style of music before. In a word, epic live performance and music! Sólstafir !
It's 2018 and I'm still listening.... simply amazing

i don't know why they kicked the drummer so i can't say they're bad people and the drummer was injusticed, all i can say is that without him, they'll never top their 2011 and 2014 albums. such masterpieces

I'm usually disappointed by most live performances, but damn they really nail these. Can still feel the heart and soul of this beautiful performance.
