If you've heard Black Mountain Live - you know how searing the guitar tone is - I'm impressed they got the levels dialed in

3:50 is where it's at. I love duel vocals...she is so awesome...she seems so nervous and introverted when being interviewed...however, when it's time to jam she goes to a different place. Its that place when we were kids that made us feel safe and protected.. Love these guys so much.

This band and its sound have not only restored my faith in music but in humanity all together.

Over the years, as I've gotten older, I've drifted away from worshiping at the altar of guitar wankery, but holy fuck that solo in Bakersfield. Sublime, brain-melting beauty.

That last song is a masterpiece

damn her voice kicks ass, the guitar player is rockn, the drummer phenomenal, the keyboards AMAZING, and that bass ties it all together ridiculously well.

I came down the comment road for this one. I'm not disapointed to find it in the few first lines. A nice mix from albums like "Animal" and "Wish you were here" and a bit of vocals from "The wall". Nothing too much. Love it.

In fact, he recently did an amazing impromptu "isolation" acoustic guitar version of "Fix Me" from the Black Flag Nervous Breakdown 7" on his FB page...following with a Velvet Underground tune and, a Martha and the Muffins tune in subsequent days... Was the sound you liked off of the album Michael Bolton released in '83?

@@Moleskineman It was their first song I heard, thanks to KEXP, and I'm not exaggerating by saying that I'd listen to it for a few days in a row constantly. Once in a decade you hear music that just hits your brain so hard you never thought it would be possible. I had a chance to see them live a few months later and loved every minute of the gig, it's a criminally underrated band.

The mixing was really phenomenal on this recording. Thanks--WOW!!!
