From my deep silence They feed the fire Building a gift from This broken liar Forsaking your face My fingers blind I touch the lonely face Of your crime The doom of your Your broken shore It washes over me Hair woven of the sea You sleeping boat drifts Away from me A broken sister Now out to sea I have lived through The depths of time I spilt the blood and She was the crime The doom of your Your broken shore It washes over me Hair woven of the sun And the sea..② The doom of your Your broken shore It washes over me Hair woven of the sun And the sea..② Stolen from A dead man’s heart Remember me sad I was your art The voice of my Blood orates Touched by the sacred Horrors of the hour The doom of your Your broken shore It washes over me Hair woven of the sun And the sea…

It's very therapeutic, though, because once I create the artwork or the lyrics, then I've allowed the negative thoughts inside me to be released and I've kind of unleashed them on to My Dying Bride. I deeply love MDB since 28 years. For me - there's hardly any other bands that are capable of creating this kind of atmosphere. I'll never forget the concert in Cologne back in the 90s, Cry of Mankind tour. It was the day, my beloved grandma was buried, and in the evening I stood crying in the crowd listening to the most appropriate sound for such a day. Well done, guys, this song is amazing! I hope to hear another 20 years new music from you. And please visit the Rock Hard Festival in Germany this year.

The pure essence of doom metal excellency! MDB has been always on the top of this style and if all the new album is like this track, we can mourn together again :-) The death vocal is so expressive and the comination with Aaron´s lamenting is unique in whole metal history! The amazing violin parts!!! For me a huge nostalgy of the 90s when I saw them live in Prague, after The Angel and the Dark River. This must be really one of the best comebacks of 2020, altogether with Psychotic Walts in the prog metal field!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
