Of all the albums MDB have released in the last years, this is the first time I really feel as if this song was a part of Turn Loose the Swans, great job at the video too! Thanks for continuing loyal to your very own sound, keep up the good job!!

I am from Russian...the best doom band..all my life...
Zwolle, Netherlands, 1995 .... I attended an Iron Maiden gig and when I entered the venue, the support act, MDB, was just starting "The Cry of Mankind". Never heard of the band, I was sold in 10 seconds of hearing that repetitive guitar line. It was something in music I never heard.... dark , mysterious, and it was trying to tell me something. I attended another 7 MDB concerts after that, a few times on the front row. The band has gone through a lot of changes since '95, but the essence of why I liked them then is still here. As if I would walk in to a concert, not knowing this band, hearing the intro of this song "The 2nd of three bells", I would be sold again. A true masterpiece of the traditional My Dying Bride essence!

Man, the vocals, the same My Dying Bride I loved one million years ago in my youth!

Late 90s/ Early 2000s I had a cassette with MDB and The Gathering on it, don´t even know how it ended up in my hands really... They complemented each other well in my dark hours... Thank you

Yup, it's MDB, and I mean that in the best way. Impeccable production, melody, atmosphere, and dynamics to spare, and Aaron even whipped out his growl in that middle part to put the cherry on top. Been a fan since "Symphonaire Infernus Et Spyra Empyrium" and it's a rare occasion when these guys disappoint. I'm glad to see they've still Got It!

I was used to listen Manowar,UDO,Metallica etc. It was long time ago. Then i listened MDB first time. Since then i stayed on doom metal, including funeral doom. Pure masters,hands down

Damn. This is my apology to the band. Back 15-20 years ago I wasn't at a place where doom was my thing and I had written off MDB. Today I'm at a point where this hits hard and I just had an epiphany. Now I know why you guys are held in such high regard. What a beautiful, heart-wrenching piece of music. Off to listen to the discography and pre-order the new album!

He has a constant creepy smile on his face which has gotten a bit irritating over time. Lena should teach him a lesson how to have a serious doom metal expression..
His voice takes me back to high school. In the dark, getting high during lunch at my friemds house. Good times

This song and the rest of the record, it's their best since like God's of the sun,for me of course, a lot o good riffs, violin , good structures, the voice of Aaron, i listen to this band since 1993 and this record was love at first sight, like all the old albums in the nineties.
