Great review. I laughed out loud at your line of "the same movie where Kong fans took that massive L". GIANT TRUTH BOMB there. I personally did not like this movie (despite my boy winning), but I think Mecha Godzilla was far and away the highlight of the whole ordeal. Very kickass rendition! I foresee third party companies doing their versions of this but adding led & diecast.

Whenever I buy an sh monsterarts, I go to your channel before it arrives. Your videos always help me know how good it is and how far the articulation can go. Before, I had I had a 2001 that broke because I bent its legs too far( that was before I discovered your channel) Your the man! I just preordered mine and hope the pistons don’t break.

Great review! My guess for the fate of the proton scream is that we'll get a repaint with red highlights and more weathering like how Mechagodzilla is in the final battle. That figure would most likely include the effect part and possibly more like an extra hand option for Kong to hold Mechagodzilla's head like how Godzilla can hold the MUTO's head with the spitfire version.

thanks for doing this review i didnt even know about the hand gimmick till i watched your review. im sure eventually we will get another MG 2021, it may be a while, but then watch them give us everything that was missing from this release. the extra red paint and weathering and beam and drill tail. still a fantastic figure. keep up the great work

While not my favorite MechaG design, it's still a really well done figure. It's just a shame SH Monsterarts still counts on only collectors to purchase their figures to substitute for the lack of effect parts.

@@BlackHeartRise Sometimes I find the situation reversed. I prefer the King of the Monsters Godzilla to the Kong vs Godzilla version, which technically just counts as a repaint, and I prefer the original KOTM Ghidorah paint over the new one. I don't like when creatures try to be overly shiny.

@@matthewscorner2990 To be honest that is how ghidorah looked in KOTM, gold with a silver/grey stomach/neck, the 1st version we got was pretty whack like something you could've made at home For godzilla his look in gvk and kotm was pretty much the same the blue was a lot shinier darker and more reflective in gvk on screen compared to Kotm who was lighter and vibrant, gvk was pretty much how he looked in 2014

this figure looks amazing! i really loved this review! ill most likely do a review inspired by you when my first godzilla figure arrives!

A brilliant sculpt and the silver paint looks great, but he really needs more red paint to replicate the red he had in the movie. He also really needs more accessories, though that is an issue with the line in general

Fantastic review! Even though I had a broken piston right out of the package, this is still one of my favorite SHMA figures.

those pistons should've been diecast and wouldv'e been best if they rotated with the leg back and forward movement.

The figure is great but I think it is lacking in red paint on the neck, torso, and tail. Other than that, Holy crud the engineering of the sculpting on that figure is awe inspiring!

This is awesome despite Mechagodzilla not having the red details like in the movie

It's a nice figure but I'm wait for a different version like a berserk mode or battle mode where it comes with a red beam and a power up fist

At 0:53 The monsters is from monster hunter the black one called nargacuga and the blue one is zinogre (Just letting you guys know)

Needed WAY more red paint, a beam effect with a stand, articulated hands (if PLAYMATES can do it, Tamashii can, too), and a drill piece to swap onto the tip of the tail. Why hasn’t Tamashii been able to get a Mechagodzilla right aside from Heisei or Kiryu?

I’m ok with the lack of red paint, this is kinda how he appears when we first see him in the movie in the mountain underground, he didn’t have any flowing red parts, they’ll probably do a Mechagodzilla (Rogue ver) with red paint and blue atomic charged effect parts

Looks amazing. As long as my Pistons don't come broke! I'm getting him,Ultima and G21 to. Ultima seems amazing besides inaccurate face and sizeing. And G21 is good. And I'm probably gonna get some gashrapons Godzilla's,monsterarts rodan 2021. And hiya toys G21. Also I want a monsterarts Mothra 2019 scv. For about the price of 45$ like a blue winged .much better body paint etc. Off topic tho. Lol

I wish the Soul-Of-ChoGoKin version of the exact product also came. Like how the Soul-Of-ChoGoKin line recreated KirYu anti-Godzilla robot except with LED lights. Except the Soul-Of-ChoGoKin of this should’ve had LED lights if it were to exist.

If mine comes with broken pistons, I’m sending it right back and getting a new one, I’m not gonna put up with Tamashiis poor quality control and engineering

Looks awesome but a shame they’re holding out no doubt to rerelease with the red effects and proton scream. I mean just look at what they’re doing with Ghidorah.

Wouldn't have it been easier to make the fingers articulated instead of having to switch them everytime you wanna change the hands

I have came across an issue with my figure, and the issue was the tail being too fragile I think. It was smooth as depicted in the video but for some reason when I moved it like that a segment broke down (the ball inbetween two segments just popped away from the other) later when I unboxed the figure. This unfortunately happened again when I was carefully moving the tail this time but another segment broke infront of the broken piece. I did super glue the broken parts but you can't move them around. I don't know how I should move the tail because Im too scared of breaking it again. Any suggestions?
