I think every Godzilla figure should come with an atomic breath accessory that's show/movie accurate. I bet they could've found a way to make Ultima's atomic beam.

I've had this figure for about 2 and a half months now and I do have to say: It's absolutely fantastic!

I think it’s worth the price and I’m glad you got it to show us all how fantastic it is !

amazing figure. now I'm even more excited on the upcoming SP jet jaguar and the newly announced rodan. and of course the inevitable godzilla pre-evolutions, particularly in godzilla terrestris.

Godzilla Ultima looks like Shin Godzilla. But I think the S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla Ultima is better than Shin Godzilla!! At least the problem of this figure is I have to switch heads because I don't want to force the ball joint from the neck. I hope I could get this figure for Christmas

That was kinda the whole thing in the anime cause they both have different forms into there transformations into there zilla forms

The left trap on mine is separate from the sculpt as well. I’ve seen photos of others’ figures, and that seems to be common on all I’ve seen. Luckily, the eyes on mine are decent. I’m impressed with how well the tail can move and not pop off easily. I agree that the 2 tiny Jet Jaguar figures are rather pointless.

He looks so cool! I really like his design! I love this review!

I found one on a spanish ebay store for $100 lucky me as i'm in Portugal i won't have to pay taxes, and it happened to be the same seller that sold me a Godzilla 54 a while ago, beautiful figure

If there's something I would change in this SH Monsterarts Godzilla, I would rather change the accessories so that it can include the very powerful Atomic breath that he has rather than have 2 unpainted Jet Jaguar figures, especially since there's ALREADY an SH Monsterarts Jet Jaguar in the works

I finally grabbed this guy at a discount. He's a great figure and I'm glad I have him now, but I probably would have had serious buyers remorse getting him at MSRP.

I just got mine today I can’t say I’m not to surprised how good he is

So excited for this guy!!!

I bought this for my Godzilla obsessed friend. Never cared for a Godzilla figure, but I've been sort of wanting this one just because of that tail.

I feel the sheer size is justification enough for this figure, at least for me.

As a long time SHMA fan, I am astounded nothing fell off during the articulation section. lol

0:23 whoa!!😍🤯 Love the review man, very fun and enjoyable. My biggest beefs with this figure was the head sculpt/eyes and that there was no atomic breath accessory. But now...looking at your toy photography pictures...I can honestly say that I'm no too worried about that anymore because the only real way of seeing the flaws in the head sculpt is when you look at it up close in person or zoomed in. So I'm no longer stressing that issue lol But... at the price point of $115-$120... yet again, S.H. has failed us collectors that spend this kind of money and not get any beam effect. Its just so disappointing, I'm still buying the figure but I hope one day NECA will get the rights back to producing Godzilla figures because they are a toy company that actually knows their consumers.

I got say in the time it’s been since the design was revealed it really grew on me and it might be one of my new favorite designs if we get a season 2. Spoiler alert for Godzilla singular point: If we do get a season 2 I’d love to more of the new Mechagodzilla because it might be my new favorite Mechagodzilla design.

Reminds me of space godzilla without the shoulder spikes

I'm not a big fan of this Goji design, but damn if this isn't a beautiful and well-made figure.

Not going to lie, if it wasn't for the classic Space Godzilla profile pic you have I would totally choose this figure as a second option for a PFP

I fully agree with the jet Jaguar minis. I could honestly go without em and would probably one beam effect. Also cause jet is my least favorite character in any past future or present film or show.

Hmm, I’m not sure about Godzilla releases having the actual atomic breath piece. But I do love when Diego-Doom had already bought the actual atomic breath piece and then fixes the issue with the non-atomic-breath-effect-part-Godzilla releases with that. 💀💀

This dropped the second I went into work. Setting aside my opinions on the design, though I will add that the tail is hilariously long, I don't understand why we keep getting Godzilla figures without atomic breath effect parts. Especially given designs like this have unique breath designs that makes it look weird if you only have, say, one of the straight Heisei era breath effect parts. I totally agree with your opinion on the Jet Jaguars. They're very pointless and they don't even look that good.

Definitely my biggest regret in figures i couldn't obtain. I wasnt into toy collecting again until recently and this is the one shmonsterarts figure i want but can't get. Such an awesome design of Godzilla

I've had problems with the tail my end tail came off and it was hard to get it back onto the joint also the tail was kind of hard to put in into the ball joint but overall it's a cool figure but I do think the tails joints have some problems staying together.

Seems I'm pretty late, but another amazing review! I got mine just earlier today, but unfortunately the tail came off during shipping. I've tried using a hair dryer to make it loose enough to get the tail on, but no luck, you have any ideas I could try?

Great review! My only question is if anyone knows how to make a good ACCURATE breath piece. It’s my favorite of all Godzilla’s and I’ve seen everyone single one, I’d rather not miss out on it. If anyone knows PLEASE comment. And I’ll definitely be buying this figure shortly

hey Diego, my godzilla ultima figure just arrived, Im having trouble pulling off the head to swap it with the 2nd. Im also afraid that the ball joint will snap and break making me have to get a new godzilla ultima

Honestly the thing i still have a tough time with on ultima is extra rows of teeth i think i would had been fine with it on 2 rows of teeth but with him having i think 4 rows im not 100% sure on

The main win for me. No pop off tail.

Personally I think ultima and shin’s models are equal length, ultima just stands more hunched

The comparison between the height and length is just insane. Almost unnecessarily so.

Honestly sp godzilla is worth it sad that he doesn't come with his ring and breath but still really good! Also question how did you get those building pieces and explosion effects? Would really like them for my future stop motions that hopefully won't turn out as bad as I think 😅
