This works for one thing, you can use it to customize it yourself and paint it closer to the movie version. I wouldn't do that to the official one since it was expensive, but this one is cheap so if I mess up nothing of value was lost. The warped parts even work as battle damage.

i think it can work even for a colectable because i don't think people will pay attention to the details and heating problems as you so i think its an awesome figure.

I think it's obviously a knock off but a pretty decent one for that price! Hiya is a great price and this is more than half of that. Seems like a steal, assuming Hiya doesn't make one, but even then, it's only $22, then it can become destroyed Mecha!

Honestly, bootlegs aren't bad, but the plastic can feel gummy to almost brittle in you're not careful, but nowadays it seems bootlegs are getting better in plastic while the high end stuff becomes the knockoff.

It really does feel like that sometimes! This guy has hard plastic joints that I was really pushing on with the foot seating right and I don't even have stress marks.

This is a good question! Now the fear with lead is usually limited to paint. This figures is unpainted minus the eyes and slight highlights on the spines. But there is no ban on lead used in plastics. Lead is used to soften plastics so they can go back to they're original molded shapes. I don't have a lead test kit right now but I will order one and get back to you and post about it.
