It's an important time of year for fox controllers, and in this episode of our series with Mark Ripley (260RIPS), he's out trying to make a dent in the numbers before the heavily pregnant ewes give birth.
Before that though, Mark shares a few recent outings with us, including a great daytime stalk onto the mega buck pictured in the thumbnail image...
Find out how everyone's favourite foxer gets on, and pick up loads of great foxing tips, in this month's episode of Shooting & Country TV (S&C TV).

Screaming Fox is my got to sound as well. Even over here in Australia. Tried a variety of calls both foxpro sounds and many other but usually revert back
Fantastic efforts yet again mark,,, that rabbit distress call is one i never get used to, horrible eery sound😬and its looking just as wet as up here in, Northumberland 😉👌❤️❤️🇬🇧stay safe and sound mate
Nice shooting Mark love your videos cheers mate
Hi Mark great video as always. It goes to show no matter what gear you use when you're after foxes or however much it costs, knowing you're ground and where you know the foxes will appear from is priceless. A perfect demonstration was proven in this video. 👌 Hope to see you doing some of you're long range shooting on your channel soon. ATB Jim
You’ve been busy there mark fair dos, I always like this time of year on the foxes especially when there lambing now at this time but you had a couple and a nice buck at the start. Great viewing mate and thanks for sharing. 👍

Thanks Rob! Take care mate 😉
Superb video Rips, I love watching your work and how you always include your safety in your filming, whenever you are loaded ready to go your very 1st action is always applying the gun safety. It's a positive instinct that hopefully rubs off on all shooter's both new and experienced, when introducing my kids to the sport of gun's it's the very 1st thing aswell as trigger safety I drum into them. And now I am introducing some of the grandkids to the sport they have already been warned about the gun safety and trigger finger safety by their parents, my former students. Keep your videos coming please both my kid's/ grandkids and myself love em, thanks for taking the time to create them and share them with us. 👍

Thanks Geoff hope you are keeping well 😉
Tip from a fool l no you have killed a lot of foxes but if the sound of the foxpro is on when the fox is on its way leave it on and when it is of leave it of but l will put it softer when the fox approached he will think it is getting away and will come with speed. It works in South Africa with jackal which l think is much more cunning than a fox because l have hunted both. Hope you have some good hunting. Thanks again for your time 👍🏻
I wish we were allowed to have silencers/moderators on our firearms here in the USA like y'all are allowed in the UK. Here the freaking ATF idiots make us register them as a FIREARM which as you know...their NOT! It would be so much more pleasant shooting if we could just screw one on whatever we wanted and most likely I wouldn't be plagued by tinnitus that absolutely drives me nuts at times. 200$ tax stamp if we want to use one and if I'm correct that is what we are taxed for each one we own. 56 yrs old now and have painfully learned hearing protection is a must. Wish I were smarter when I was younger and knew what I know now. Thanks for the video and get away. Stay blessed.

I know it’s crazy! Here we also need to add them on our licences like a firearm however they are almost always used on our rifles! Wish we could still have handguns like you guys! Ridiculously we are allowed semi auto pistols in 22 if the barrels are long and it has an extension on the grip so it is classed as a rifle to make it legal to own! If you wanted to make it into a normal handgun and use it for a criminal purpose, it would take about two minutes with a hacksaw!
16:05. Did make me laugh 👍

Excellent neck shot on that Buck. Considering what that 260 REM and you are demonstrably capable of, that was really just a chip shot but nonetheless a great video and based on your experience and recommendations I too bought that Infiray TH50 V2 . As you say fantastic thermal scope. Look forward as always to more videos

MaRk, Does the caller affect the rabbits? Do they scatter and dash for their burrows, or not take any real notice?

Would you not want to take the weaker buck to eat and leave the stronger buck to breed?

From a deer management point of view probably yes, but these deer generally just pass through and any deer on this farm are not welcome! 👍

@@260ripsyou should probably stop shooting for this farm then... animals should have the right to pass through land it is after all their home too. Eradication of a species is not a good mindset. Animals have no concept of borders, what is the deer suppose to do? its not going to think '' oh this is bobs farm he doesnt want me here i'll just walk 5 miles around it''
Mark, what footwear are you sporting in your vids?
