In episode 16 of our Foxing series with Mark Ripley on S&C TV, Mark has a brand new rifle from Blaser UK to put through its paces. The Mauser M12 in .243 is ideal for foxing, and with two farms to cover in one night and two foxes in the bag by the end of it, you can't argue with its efficiency!

Just shows you need to keep your wits about you when out at night with people walking about where they shouldn't be another great vid mark
It’s amazing that’s all these top end day/night scopes and thermals have the focus at the front which is what you find on the cheapest of rifle scopes. I hope soon they bring out a side focus day/night or thermal scope so you don’t have to spend £2 on a fishing coaster when you have just spent 4 figures.

Auto record will solve your problem of finding the right button. Can preset how long it records before you pull trigger.

It does indeed but I like to record a longer bit of pre fox shot footage and also it’s back up in case it doesn’t work for some reason! 👍
What brand of spirit level is that on your Element Scope?
Mark I’m looking at getting a Alpex next week, would you pick it over a td50 or a c50 yourself?

Yes I would! To be honest they are all good but I think the Alpex is just slightly better over all.

Not ideal but for short range shooting it’s ok, you can get surprisingly stable from this one with the side bar to rest your elbow on 👍
You still prefer the Wraith!

I do like the wraith and reckon it still wins for value for money! I guess there’s pros and cons to all nv scopes but they all pretty much get the job done 😉
What's happened to you Mark? 60yrds, surely your missing another zero on that.🤣 Everyone is missing the long range skills your known for. Much rather watch you turn a magpie into a cloud of feathers @ 700/800 yards. Bring back the 260.
Purely out of interest, what do you do with the foxes?
