    Shinku Hadoken, easily one of Ryu's most recognized Super Moves, having been used in EVERY game he's had Supers in since Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo :) And it also shows how much mastery in the Hadoken Ryu has.

    @7:05 Love how SF5 Ryu's Shinku shows him struggling to gather the massive power he's about to release. Very much different than any other iteration of it than any other game he's in. I respec t the animator's for being thoughtful and creative with that, instead of a copy/paste from SF4 or earlier!

    Awesome! Ryu's shinku hadoken really packs a powerful punch which is Ryu's most powerful move. In the Street Fighter games is shinku hadoken is a powerful fireball but in the crossover fighting games it's a powerful laser. It can also be very effective against M.Bison.

    Ryu in the beginning was definitely arrogant. It wasn't until he met and was defeated by Ken that he started to mellow out and started being humble.

    The thing is both are kinda the same. Kamehameha Wave literally translate to Turtle Energy Wave whereas Hadouken translate to Energy Fist.

    It's interesting. In Smash Ultimate, they made Ken's Final Smashed resemble his Hyper Combos from the vs. games. Yet Ryu's Final Smashes are more based off of his supers from the original series.

    Ryu's character was partly inspired by a real Korean-Japanese fighter named Mas Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate. There's a great Korean martial arts movie about him called, Fighter in the Wind (2004). Highly recommend.

    The MVC3 one is the best in my opinion. I think in the Street Fighter Alpha movie, he did that kind of huge Shinku Hadouken as well.

    I had the impression that the "Shinku Hadouken" was a beam, but it is only in the "vs. MARVEL" series, and the others are in the form of a large Hadouken that hits multiple times.
