Europe always putts well in the Ryder Cup especially at home and you need that to win. JT has a lot of pressure and it's unknown how he does. I'm a huge Spieth fan but he hasn't played well recently. Leaving Glover could end up being a mistake with how well he's putting. We shall see.

JTs performance will tell us if leaving Lucas Glover was the smartest thing or the dumbest thing ever. I think (could be wrong) that Jordans 2nd child is due the week they are expecting to do a scouting trip of Marco Simone.

i'm not saying who i'm favoring for the cup. but i will say that i bought it at +250, not even 5 months ago. Europe has so many hot putters right now (except perhaps Rory, Rahm), and the US has almost none. this doesn't look close.

A Ryder Cup team really requires 4 guys to carry it through the team matches. Hovland, Rahm, McIlroy and one of Fleetwood/Fitzpatrick/Hatton give the Euros that. Add Aberg as a wild card - he may be driving the ball better than anyone in golf right now. They will want to pair McIlroy, Aberg and Fleetwood with a partner who has a hot putter and can read greens, but that is where Donald earns his role.

Tron from No Laying Up called Aberg on this team back at Whistling Straits lol.

Europe for the win. Zack was up in his friends as too much. Donald made sensible picks that are in shape as we speak.

Great job by Donald. The young players are in top form. Lowry has the experience. The last 6 for the European team compares well with the last 6 for the US. When is the last time anyone could say that with a straight face. All things considered Europe +150 is a good bet.

I'm surprised that no one has noted that Ludvig Aberg is the player with the shortest path to make a Ryder Cup team, right from turning professional. This is, in history. Not even Tiger Woods accomplished the same feat.

Lavs moment in the sun speculating on Aberg, The White Tiger, 5 months ago. Even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while. 22 year old world class players have so much more experience than their predecessors. Two of them on team Europe.

After the surprising JT pick I would have said yes. But idk who half the EU team is. I think we might take this one.

If you casually follow the PGA, Id imagine you don't know who MacIntyre, Hojgaard or Aberg. Otherwise you should know everyone else.

Good call Paul..Meronk is gutted so why should't he not be looking at LIV. I think he should and tell DPTour to go shove it.

This is a competition and if you want to win you pick the hottest players, create a good team atmosphere and inspire them. JT, Fowler, and Speith will not perform well, write it down

Am I the only one who thinks JT was a good pick, but Rickie shouldn't be on the team? Fowler had a great season, but he doesn't win in match play!

Team US are underdogs they haven’t won for 30 years I can’t see anything changing . Europe will win maybe not as convincingly as 2 years ago 16-12 . I think US will just rock up like they did Paris 2018. Personally they should have all turned up months ago to play a few practice rounds. But no they’ll turn up Monday-Tuesday of Ryder cup week. You’d think they would change something after not winning in 30 years but I don’t think they want it that bad.
