One of the great gentlemen in golf.
Truly special, hearing Jose recall his fond memories of Seve and his time being captain.
My greatest sporting moment ever,medinah,unbelievable.
Thank you for playing for us you are and always will be a legend in the game of golf.
Possibly my greatest sporting memory. Those guys shouldn't have won, but they believed and pulled off a miracle. José Maria was an inspirational captain.

11-6 to Europe from 1985, Yanks mostly crushed, but coming back in the past few matches, I think this year will be tight, but I hope we do 'em again. Ollie and Seve, the names of my two cats, heh.
What an ambassador of the game of golf, Jose Maria Olazabal is. I’m sorry that he lost his friend, Seve. What a great duo they were, and thanks to Jack Nicklaus for suggesting that the Ryder Cup be expanded to include the continental Europeans. The Ryder Cup is what it is today, thanks to him.

Its so sad that Jose and Seve's games left them. People go on about Poulter in the Ryder cup....dont make me laugh. These guys Monty, Faldo Langer another level.

Seve’s back injury & also arthritis in his hands from the early 90s meant he wasn’t able to swing the same & flow. On his day he was the best ever .
