Ryanair's touchdowns are EXACTLY like any other airlines' touchdowns. You do realize that pilots all over Europe have pretty much identical training more or less. The touchdown on the 737 or any other airplane that doesn't have boogie main undercarriage, is a little harder than on bigger airplanes like the 777 that have landing gear boogies.

Easy, landing is all about patience. As you come in, hands on the throttle, disengage the AT and AP at 1,000, follow the line and at 20 feet slow back on throttle and yoke to touchdown. Reversers if needed to full, roll to 20kts and then as you roll off the runway discuss the best restaurants and/or photo ops on the way back. God I love flying! 😂

Ryanair always lands smooth in big airports like dublin and brussels airport, the slamming down of the plane always happens in small airports with shortrunways and difficult approaches because those are cheaper destinations. If you pay 20 euro for a round trip you get what you pay for.

Dobrý den, bohužel jako běžná osoba se tam nedostanete. Můžete se posádky zeptat, jestli byste si to mohl během stání na zemi vyfotit to ano ale za letu tam sedět nesmíte. Já v Ryanair toho času pracoval, takže to je něco jiného. Do flightdecku během letu smí pouze zaměstnanci nebo osobní známí operujících pilotů.

@@aviationmayhem Boeing recommends to disconnect the AP before the minimums, and the autopilot was disconnected pretty close to it but it was still before the minimums So no problem at all since they dont do this their whole carrier,which you cant prove.... Also you are evaluated on your "skills" when you are an airline pilot. Its easy to land a plane after disconnecting the Ap at the last moment,but only for someone who is fully trained and qualified,but for the others its an another story

Crush Admin Ryanair pilots receive 2 litres each per working day. This is often not enough as it gets really hot and dehydrating at 40000 feet, so we tend to bring our own empty bottles, and fill them up as well... the cabin crew can always fill up the bottles with tap water from the back of the aircraft if we run out

When you're landing in a 737, you're going way slower than cruise speeds due to flaps and idle throttle. That's how airplanes can flare while landing.
