    I really enjoy EM. All of them are very practical. The arts is a great way to reach out to teens and YA. Churches should be creating space for art - painting, stain glass, architecture, etc

    This was such a click bait title. I feel for it lol. I was expecting an interesting discussion on Japanese manga/anime and its influence on my generation. It was like 7 minutes of the whole convo. I loved the conversation but maybe change the title haha.

    Yeah, as a discerning enjoyer of select anime, in part because it still values beauty when western animation studios are devoted to uglifing the world with their cartoons, I came in ready to throw down, but vision for Christian art articulated in this conversation was good.

    I think his criticism of anime depends entirely on which anime are being considered. Many anime do a fat better job presenting gender differences in appearance and behavior between men and women than most western media.
