The offense he ran in college is very similar to what Grubb runs so it makes sense. College Geno used to throw dots all over the field.

Not like there’s 7 years of starter film on him. You kind of have to. He didn’t play much in the NFL up until Seattle; I’m happy he looked at that film too, don’t get me wrong, but if he didn’t, I’d be concerned

1. Slow your roll. He hasn’t coached a game…too many college offensive gurus flame out quickly in the NFL 2. Surprise, no OC had OC experience before their first OC job…doesn’t make them unqualified. Was Shannahan unqualified when he became the OC in Houston? Or became the HC in San Francisco? 3. Pete routinely put handcuffs on his OCs, his entire Seahawks tenure. We’ll find out a lot more about who Waldron is in his time in Chicago. I’m not saying Waldron was good or that grubb will be bad, I’m saying Waldron likely isn’t as bad as people think considering he did it with a meddling Pete and Geno. And as far as grubb is concerned…how bout you let him coach at least 1 real NFL snap before passing judgement

Man I am so excited Grubb is our OC. February was such a tough month for football in Seattle. And now 4 months later I don't think it could have turned out any better for both my Dawgs and my Hawks. I'm excited for the future of both!!!! I really think Grubb is going to do an amazing job as an OC in the NFL. And it's so much better that he gets his shot for my Hawks instead of somewhere else. Welcome home Grubb. You're where you belong!!!

When Geno was named the starter after Wilson left I told everybody that Geno was the next Rich Gannon. Gannon did get an MVP.

No disrespect to Pete, but I absolutely cannot wait to see how this team looks under these new coaches! I think they bring great energy, they seem very disciplined, and give great respect to players (which I think only earns them respect in return). Not to mention the fresh ideas I think they bring to the game. I believe Pete let the professionalism slide a bit toward the end of his career, in favor of a culture that felt more like "family", than an organization whose primary vision is to help players become masters in their profession.

Love u Grubb. Hope he is the best OC we have ever had in Seattle, getting the most out of each and every player on the roster when the shots calls for it. Stick to the run game and we can do whatever we want. Scheme is everything, and Grubb is the guy you want, going forward.

He said we haven’t we had to punt yet. I like the sound of that.

OTA’s….defense isn’t really allowed to do much of anything.

We have a fantastic coaching staff, they still have to prove it, but so excited to see what we do.
