For RX 580 in modern games use low(lowest) settings with high textures, to utilize all the VRAM.

I'm impressed, the RX 580 has aged like fine vinegar.

Not surprised by the results the GTX 1660 SUPER was very comparable to the GTX 1070 in performance and the RX 580 was a competitor to the GTX 1060. Though the 8GB of vram on the 580 I’m sure is helping hold the card up in todays games.

those extra VRAM only useful you really need them. thing is you can change in game setting. 8GB still decent for 1080p.

@@arenzricodexd4409 It should help frametimes a lot in newer games that are super vram heavy. Allowing you to keep the texture quality up while other settings lower obviously. A 1060 would with 6GB will struggle much more often in modern titles from a vram limitation

1660S is almost as strong as 1660Ti. and it should be the faster card even against RX590.

As years go buy 1660 show increase in its lead over rx580.

AMD fine wine in action!!They must have abandoned the RX 580 that fanboys claimed it would be a gtx 1070 competitor someday due the fine wine magic!! But to be honest some of the newer games tested here require mesh shaders which, unlike the rx 580, is supported by gtx 1660 super gpu architecture which was called "Turing" or "Turding as AMD fanboys were calling it back then!!".

AMD abandons driver support after 7 years for all cards forcing people to buy new cards. R9 380 2015-2022, Rx 580 2017-2024. Both cards i owned now perform like shit.

If anyone considering these cards my opinion is that gtx 1070 is better option than 1660 super, 2gb vram more and almost same or even better performance.

1660 will work with DX12 based game better. proper async compute support. even have mesh shader support. 1070 is already 8 years old at this point. if you're getting used card better look for much newer one

С такой системой вряд ли кто то будет ставить такие карты . А вот на системах по проще будет все печальней еще .. Но 1660 прям удивила если честно.

580 неплохо держится, и сразу видно что она будет мощнее 1060минимум в половине игр, если не в большинстве.. Жаль амд обрубила поддержку своих старых карт, Хуанг себе такого не позволяет.
