RWS 350 Feuerkraft (RWS 350 Classic)

The RWS 350 Feuerkraft (RWS 350 Classic) is right on par with the RWS 350 Magnum. Both the 350 Magnum and the Classic hold the top position on my list of .22 cal spring guns. At only $339.99, the Classic, with its awesome fiber optic open sights, sets a high bar for other rifles to follow. Considering that some manufactures are pushing their Chinese imports at that $300 price point, why wouldn't you go with a German made European rifle that generates over 22 ftlbs and can hit a dime every time at 20 yards?

Nice Mr. Rick. I got RWS 350 Magnum in .22 and it is a very nice Rifle.
thats a mighty fine looking gun rick.
@setherydahmer I'm glad you like it... I love the RWS 350 class rifle.. my go-to gun for .22 cal hunting breakbarrel. I haven't found anything that compares yet. Rick
I'll be getting to the 350 with T06 soon.. I have a bunch of products on my plate right now, but it is on the list. Rick
I'll be getting to the 350 with T06 soon..it is on the list. Rick
@setherydahmer doing well. I've been taking it up to the range when I go shoot my other guns. It is a solid 50 yard gun for sure. I haven't tested the velocity again yet but I will. I can tell it is doing better as it is not nearly as stiff as it was before. Rick
@bg676 That is my hope too. I bought this gun after the review. I'm excited to see how it feels after a few hundred more shots. Rick
@SuperSchwebel You are welcome. I should have some new results on the Ruger as It seems that I had faulty chrony results (from the vendor).. In any case, the RWS 350 is a better gun hands down. Copies are NOT the same as the original. It looks like both of the guns I received with low velocities may have been due to a faulty chrony.. we'll see when I take them to the range later this week... should be interesting. Cheers Rick
@AirGunWeb thanks very mach that was very helpfull thanks
Another great video Rick!!! Don't worry about little kids hating on you, they are just jealous LOL Cheers, -Joel.G
@M1K1LL1 It is the short barrel version of this gun. It is definitely better than the Trail NP XL. The advantage to getting it from PyramydAir is that you can get the Striker Combo with the special mount, scope, and hard shell case. Great deal. Rick
@bays1001 I've shot the air magnum.. I couldn't get mine to shoot anywhere near that well. Best case was about .75" at 20 to 25 yards. If you can do that with yours, out of the box and not "tuned," then you got a great one. Hold on to it. Cheers Rick
@gerysc This one shot slower than the 350 Magnum that I tested. From day one it was a bit slower.. I believe that is par for the course on spring guns however.. You'll get some that are faster than others. Cheers. Rick
@thebowlzack PyramydAir sells cases.. as another option, you can get a gun "sock" that has silicone embedded in it to prevent rust.. that is a great way to store your guns and they are inexpensive. Cheers Rick
@thejackking10 it may be a great deal.. just make sure that it is the new version with the T06 trigger and not the old version with the T05. Cheers Rick
@nickbownz Gee thanks Nick.. Actually I think Paul does a far better job than I do as far a production goes. I'm just trying new things and also trying to bring a bit of polish to the presentation. Can't please everyone however. Cheers. Rick
@MrZach316 You need the no droop compensation UTG mount. That should solve your issue. Rick
The gun is currently in for testing. I hope to do some shooting today actually. So expect the review either over the weekend or sometime next week. Cheers Rick
i like the new intro rick, its pretty cool did you edit it yourself? btw great reveiw, seems like an awsome gun, just wish i could afford it!
@MisterWannabee thanks I'm working on some more music for the videos. Finding good drum loops seems to be the issue for me. Let us know what ultimately comes of the repair. Cheers! Rick
@socomkid88 thanks.. yeah I thought we needed to "bring it up a notch." I wrote and played the intro music too.. better than that old canned apple stuff. I'm working on some more "new and improved" features. Rick
@TheWayne8698673 It is.. the 350 Feuerkraft is also called the "classic" but the mechanics are the same as those on the "magnum." Rick
I got the gun in 22 caliber. The 177 caliber RWS 350 Magnum is okay. Just make sure that you use heavy pellets like the Kodiak's or the baracuda from H&N. Cheers Rick
Wow, you wrote and played the intro music? You're a versatile and talented guy Rick. I told you about my issues with my 350 Pro Compact shooting only 680 fps and the defective RWS scope too...they've been back at Umarex for more than a week now but the service dept there hasn't gotten to it yet. I'm beginning to wonder if the 350 Magnum isn't set up a bit differently than the Classic you test here and also the Pro Compact I have. The Magnums seem to shoot consistently fast. Peace!
i like magnum 350.it is very good
@sfshrimp I have it in and have moved it to the front of the line... I hope to have a video out this weekend. Rick
@Outdoorsforum No problem at all... Definitely get iMovie 09. I've looked at your channel and some of your vids.. if you want some help at any time, just let me know. Cheer! Rick
@phv628 don't know.. I tend to not like super magnums in .177. They have always been inaccurate. The only way to get any accuracy with them is to use really heavy pellets to drop the velocity below the sound barrier... At that point, you'd be better off with a decent .22 magnum springer Rick
you can remove the screw and mount the rail. does your gun have a T05 or T06 trigger? PA has mounts that will convert the 11mm rail to a weaver rail that works a lot better. Rick
@MisterWannabee That is on my list.. Right now I'm just playing around with Garage Band on the mac. Rick
@Outdoorsforum I use iMovie 09. It definitely has slow motion, cutaways, picture in picture, green screen support... granted it is not Final Cut Express or Adobe Premier (I have both of those too). I use a Mac Pro 8 core with 8 gigs of ram. The most annoying thing about iMovie 09 is that performance drops to a crawl at times. I have to exit out and then come back in and it is fine for a while. The simplicity of it makes it hard to justify learning Final Cut or Premier. Rick
@AirGunWeb is the diana 350 magnum panther professional capebale of shoot at 300 meters
@AirgunAddict256 That would be my guess as well. I'm going to hold on to it for a while and put it through it's paces for a few months. I'll let everyone know once I've got 1000 rounds through it. Rick
very good video as always( I prefer 350 magnum)
The 350 classic and the magnum use the same power plant, barrel and T05 trigger group and only differ in the stock and sights as far as I know. Have you had any issues with rubbing on the inside of the stock when cocking the gun? That was the only issue I had with mine. Also my gun shoots just a bit under 24 ft-lbs depending on pellet choice but my deviation is between 3-7 fps, so hopefully your gun will settle down with a couple hundred more pellets through it but I'm sure it will!
@12Achilleas the 350 or the RWS 48 are both good long range airguns.. but they'll top out at about 90 yards.. If you go to PCP guns like the Marauder, you can get out to 100 to 110 with the right conditions.. Airguns are very, very different than firearms. The projectiles are lighter, velocity is lower.. this greatly reduces the effective range. Rick
@weehooker Hey there.. look into the H&N Baracuda match and H&N Baracuda Hunter pellets.. Lastly, the Discovery Hollow points are the Premier heavies in hollow point.. they could do very well. I'd expect 900s with 10ish grn pellets. Hope that helps. Rick
@2rip00 Either one is great.. my choice would be the 350 Mag Striker from PyramydAir. The Classic is nice, but the 350 Magnum is a little nicer. Rick
@setherydahmer Thanks, i just got my rifle the other day. beautiful rifle. crosman premier hp shoot 800-850 fps, RWS super h-point shoot 850-860 fps, jsb predator shoot 790-800 fps, and beman crowmag shoot 750 fps. I have only put only 100 pellets down the barrel but the rifle looks like it will last a life time, and shoot in the hight 800's with 14 gr pellets. Thank you.
@The350magnum What mount did you get? Some work, some don't Rick
How do you like that scope? I had the same scope/rifle combo, after 3 years of lite use the scope wouldent keep the same point of impact. I retightened all screws, including the mount but it still shot horrible groups. When i first installed the scope it shot really tight groups, so im convinced the scope is hammered! Ive been looking at the Hawke line of scopes to replace the Leapers, what do you think of them? Expensive but possibly worth the coin? What are your thoughts? iron
@phv628 That sounds more like it.. I setup my chrony and got 1100 FPS with 10.5 grn Crosman Premier Heavies. I had to stop because it was breaking the sound barrier and I did not want to upset my neighbors. I shot it twice and they were within 20 fps of each other. I'm excited to see how this will perform over the long haul, and if it is accurate. Rick
@catfishhunter2012 which day did you go? I'm guessing you picked the Air Hawk? Rick
hey Rick , i have this gun and i use the same base like you used in your video but the ring i use is the 1in Medium Profile rings, now i have a hard time to zero the gun , i already turn elevation adjustment all the way down but the impact spot is still way too high than the spot i was aiming , do i need lower rings ? thanks
@MrZach316 it is fairly loud.. 103 to 105 db would be my guess Rick
@montyjf The new models do.. this one has the older T05 Rick
@AirGunWeb Hi Rick, Do you think that the Ruger Air Magnum is more powerful than the Benjamin 1500 NP XL?
hey rick, would you consider this better than the walther falcon hunter in 22 cal for hunting squirrels?
@SuperSchwebel Here's an update, I just looked at my FPS numbers on the Ruger Airmagnum. They were not where they need to be (only 643FPS?) I may have just gotten a bad, one I don't know yet. For me this highlights why the German made RWS rifles are worth paying more for; Quality Control. Out of 3 rifles that I received today, the two Chinese imports show signs of being defective out of the box. The one European gun, Walther Talon, seems fine. I wish I could say this wasn't typical. Rick
Now that is a nice looking rifle. I know this is kind of random but what do you use to make your videos? i have iMovie and I'm not a big fan of it (you cant do slo-mo and there aren't that many affects you can use.
Hey Rick, i wrote you at the first of the year. I love my RWS 350, but i hate the noise and i was wondering if you have ever had yours tuned. Do you recommend having heavy tar put on the spring, or moly past put on the piston? I would love to hear back from your point of view? And im getting 800 fps on Crosman Premier HP. Not To Good.
50 yards is going to be a real stretch for that gun.. any spring gun really, unless you get to the TX200 or HW97 class.. anyway, try the H&N Baracuda Match, JSB Diabolo Heavies, and possibly the Crosman Premier Heavies & Discovery Hollow points (hollow point premier heavies essentially) Cheers Rick
@akaroyalljelly I'm not familiar with the 36.. may I suggest visiting the blogs out there. I'm sure someone will have the information that you are looking for. Cheers! Rick
@AirGunWeb Well thanks for the offer but I have to pass it up. I was looking around my iMovie... Turns out I need to update. I only have the 08. Sorry to take so much time up for nothing. But on the bright side I have been able to see this review a couple times now. Sorry again
great review RICK.gentleman u r doing a great job for reviewing such a nice airgun.i think RWS 350 classic is the most accurate powerful and smooth spring air gun in the market today.i want to buy this gun.can i import this gun to my country.i am living in pakistan south asia.
@SuperSchwebel A buddy of mine had the 350 magnum in .177 and it was an awesome gun and very hard to beat. I went through all the guns at PyramydAir's site in .177 and found 3 rifles that I'd consider. 1. the new Gamo whisper CFR. it is a faster CFX I should have one for testing soon. 2. Ruger Air Magnum, my guess is that it is a 350 clone I have one in for testing, 3. Winchester 1100xsu, awesome gun that I tested a while back. In the end the 350 may be your best bet. Cheers Rick
You ever going to review the Crosman Titan Nitro Rick?
Hey Rick, I just bought an RWS 350 magnum, I'm getting ready to mount a scope but there is a screw on the rail at the rear, the head protrudes, what is that for and can I remove it without damaging anything.
@tankeriv If you know the guy and trust the guy.. then it may be a great deal.. I'd make sure to have it chrony tested first though.. just to make sure that it is mechanically as good as it looks. Cheers Rick
@AirGunWeb which one would you get rick?
You should be able to get that data from the shot cards on the video. Rick
@AirGunWeb Hi Rick, I sure hope that it was just a faulty chrony for the .177 Ruger. I was looking at another review of the Ruger Air Magnum and the tester was getting 1430 fps with the RWS hypermax pellets. I copied the website so you can take a look at it too.
@TheBigBangC I've yet to test ANY gamo extreme that was worth anything.. go with the RWS 350 Magnum. Rick
@sammysaad987 No doubt.. Paul does come kick butt videos.. I wouldn't even try to compare my work to his.. He is excellent. Rick
@setherydahmer I pretty much always suggest getting your rifle tuned if you have someone around that you can trust to do it. I've sent a lot of people over to Mike Melick. If I needed one of my guns tuned that is where I'd send mine. Cheers! Rick
Can anyone help me with some info??? I have an RWS all the gun says on it is (mod.25) it was handed down to me by family but they didn't know much. Any info will help. Like can I put a scope on it, is it good for starts or should I get a cheeper one to learn with? Thanks.
So did you rifle break in any better yet? how is it now?
can anyone tell me a safe place to store my rifle...or how to make a soft case for it. I store it leaning up against my wall just waiting to be kicked
@2rip00 Really a toss up. If you like open sights, go with the classic. Rick
To convert from ft*lb to J, multiply by 1.36.
Tom Gaylord would say dam fiber optic sights
Diana 350 panther magnum same this airgun?
I have this rifle and it has surpassed my expectations. Tack driver,Long range 75 yrds with heavy pellet kills every time. Pay attention to scope mount.Must have to hold zero. 2 pc wont cut it. Lock tight screws down and you will have bullseyes every time. Only draw back,as heavy as a real rifle.
@TNOGamerz you need to contact them directly. Rick
@AirGunWeb Have you considered an inexpensive drum machine Rick? I have the Boss DR-3; it has 100 preset rhythms plus fills, intros etc and beyond that, you can customize endlessly. It will also give you your bass line. Maybe worth a look?
@SpeedyKnives Check your local hunting regulations before hunting any regulated game (i.e. Turkey). It should have the the power with a head / neck shot. If it is new and $230, that is a great deal.. if it is used.. I'd really want to know what the condition of the gun is and shoot it first. Rick
Hey Rick!! Someone is offering this rifle to me almost brand spanking new for just $250,-!! Only the stock has been re coated because he didn't like the original coating. But he is a painter of profession. So it has been done well. What do you think??? I think an offer not to refuse since the gun is otherwise in very perfect shape!!
What is the diffrence with the Diana 34 both are rws IT looks like a Diana 34??
@AirGunWeb Well I know that this has nothing to do with your videos but do you think you could make a video on the programs you use? I have iMovie but have never found the stuff I have been looking for. ( i know it has nothing to do with your channel so I wont be offended if you dont.)
this rifle have a T06 trigger?
is it loud?
@AirGunWeb thanks sorry if im destirbing with all my cuestions i know it sounds wierd that im asking that qouestion im asking because my father and me are looking an air rifle my father wants the diana 350 magnum that i love and we live close to an open space without people afcorse and the longest distance that you can shoot safe its at 300 meters (289) and i always wanted an air rifle (SNIPER) its stupid that im asking bat the best air rifle at wat distance can shoot and wats the name thanks
how much joule have the t06 or ftlbs
@AirGunWeb I couldn't copy the website but if you google " ruger air magnum combo part 2 " , you should be find it. The writer B.B. Pelletier
3:09 , on the top of the reciever, why does it says "magnum"?? i thought this is the "classic" version
Hi... How much cost sir... I want this gun
Rick is this a good deal Used (but not very much) Gamo Hunter Extreme .177 pellet gun with illuminated reticle scope. Purchased on-sale for $450 by one of my customers but he's not strong enough to cock it. He's willing to take $250 for it at my shop. Lohrville IA. 1250 Ft/ sec with regular pellets or 1600 ft/ sec with special pellets.
@AirGunWeb

That is a pretty good deal....especially since it is was not used that much. Cheers, AGW
@jtigers20 oh yeah. Rick
@konjeicao I'd go .22 over .177 just about every time. Rick
@12Achilleas nope.. there isn't one.. not even a very powerful pcp rifle can fire up to 300 meters accurately. You are well in the range of centerfire rifles. Rick
@Outdoorsforum I don't mind doing something on the side just with you if you like. We could use TeamViewer and you should watch my screen as I show you various features. How about getting with me the end of October. I'm more than happy to help!! I can help with what equipment works as well. I certainly know what doesn't! Rick
@203ltachl203 Yep I like it. Rick
@DIANA350fans You should be able to get many thousand more shots.. at some point you will need to replace the spring and seal potentially. Time will tell. Rick
Price
@The350magnum email me if you would.. and if possible send a photo of the mount. Thanks Rick
mine has best result with rws superdome..it goes at 900 fps and about 24 ft\lbs very accurate with jsb exact, but powerless...it work at 21 ft\lbs....
Wiseabbe007 - contact UmarexUSA.com and let them know what is going on. That rifle has a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. If you haven't voided the warranty by trying to self-repair it, then you should not have an issues getting it seen to. Cheers AGW
@12Achilleas not accurately.. the 350 is at the most a 90 yard gun rick
@phv628 I know old B.B. I owe a good part of my career to him. I'll take a look at his posting on it later. Rick
can anybody recommend one piece rings for this gun, that won't be a waste of money like the RWS one piece lock down rings.
@AirGunWeb
8 жыл бұрын
+Matt Morganti - best setup is the UTG droop compensator mount and the 2 piece match Hawke low weaver rings. Cheers AGW
