It's the Ugandan forces NRA by then , who helped in the liberation and stopping the genocide in Rwanda.

Don't u ever fool your self on that one! Uganda might have helped yes! But they are not entitled to this victory, it's young Rwandan's determination and sacrifice that led to this success.

The rebels foundation actually started to grew thanks to Ugandan government wanting to make a line on refugees on the Rwandan border during Obote's regime. Ugandan government are actually not wanted to help this rebels after Museveni take power and started slowly kicking Rwandans in power of politics, business and military in Uganda. This makes them desperate to gain lands on Rwanda as well as the nationalism uprise after they found themselves being played by both of Rwanda and Ugandan government with Foreign interventions.
