A couple of suggestions... you may want to use your white marker to lable the corrogated plastic holes you cut so you can find them next time (or someone else can find them) I use bottom tape (from amazon) to seal up the bottom holes. Roto-molded tanks will always be thicker in corners, so putting a sensor in the corner of a tank may not be a good idea. I have an issue with my RV which has two grey water tanks, one for the master BR and shower and one for the kitchen. The shower always fills up first, so I think I'll add a 1/2" tube from the forward grey water tank to the aft grey water tank. They are at the same level in the frame, so they will equalize the water level and let me run a little longer between dumping the tanks.

Thanks Stuart, i like your marker tip. it is a shame that so little care goes into tank senors during install. Your right, move that sensor and you will feel better about the levels. Thanks for watching.

We had the same exact issue from day 1. Our tank is a 50 gallon. Since it is under warranty gave it to the dealer to fix it. Thanks

Great stuff, my black tank sensors have been stuck on full since almost day one. I always think I will be motivated to replace them, but I just haven't had the time or motivation to open up the bottom and do it all since for us, it is as simple as just using a flashlight everyone so often down the toilet to check the levels. The RV whisper board for the display looks interesting - especially if I don't have to change out the sensors. BTW, great use of B roll while describing the process. 🍸🍸

Flashlight is a great tool for the hole. If you ever look under camper, you may find the "full sensor" mounted at the bottom, or maybe the orange wire is connect to the wrong sensor 👍. Thanks for the feedback Phil, i appreciate the support 😎

Roger, these factory installed tank sensors are the worst. But they can be improved. Thanks for watching.

Have a 1995 Dodge Roadtrek. Just had a new fitting spin-welded into the gray water tank because it was leaking (PIA job because they had to take out the toilet to get to the plumbing to be able to drop the tank). Anyways, all the indicators work on the KiB K21 Monitor panel except the the empty indicator led for the gray water tank... but the 1/3, 2/3 and full led indicators do work for the gray water tank, go figure... lol. I'm suspecting it could be an 'OHM' issue as each sensor signal works off of different ohms I think, not sure. Anyways, great video and information.

Yes, ohms reading could be a problem. Check for corrosion on that sensor and to see if it is tight. Look for a loose connection at the KIB board. Dang that is alot of work to get to the tank. I hope you get to the bottom of the problem.

Do you have the KIB tank level system in your RV ? does your system show an accurate reading ?
