I watch a lot of different channels but something about watching KYD just makes me happy and I have a smile on my face the whole time

That's the most football I've ever watched in my life. Im good for another 40 years but I liked the content you captured and how well everyone came together for the same purpose.

Ok, being a band nerd I have to say the marching band practice has taken me back over 40 years to my glory days. Marching Bands of America Grand national championships 1976 and (even though I graduated in January 1978) 1978 (for my sister in the color guard) I loved that part for sure!

OMG!! I did the exact same thing when we brought home our first travel trailer. I hooked up to practice backing up and thought man, this truck is struggling! I hadn't towed anything that big before, came home and got out and smoke was coming out the brakes on the trailer. I had pulled the emergency cable out not knowing what it was for. I thought my wife was gonna kill me! LOL!!

This video was close to my heart. I've worked at MT for 24 years. I met my wife here, both of my girls went to pre-schools here, and in the Fall my oldest is coming here for a Vocal Education major. Thanks for showcasing our school.

Way to stay in shape Mark, inspiring for us older dads. My son played college football and those kids work hard.

That was fun episode to shoot.

Such a pleasant surprise to pull up the latest KYD and see a “hometown” team (or at least right down the street!). I have heard wonderful things about the athletes and the athletic department at MTSU, I’m glad to see that proven!

How awesome, Marc and Trish thanks for coming to Murfreesboro and dedicating the video to the great MTSU community, band, and sports program. MTSU is my alma mater and my son is now attending, with daughter going next year. We live in Franklin, TN just an hour away from Murfreesboro. It’s so cool to watch and share your videos with others. Hi guys! First off, I'd like to say thanks for taking all of us on your journey. I love the way you educate with entertainment along the way. Even a subject matter of laundry..not too exciting ..but I'm sure we'll all find something useful out of that video. But what I want to mention is the few that comment about your "financial" status. I believe that whether your millionaires or not doesn't matter to 99% of us. Hopefully you don't let those jealous people bother you. The rest of us definitely dont!! Keep up the great outlook on life!!

Much props KYD for showing the other athletes the marching band. I am a true blue band nerd and so is my family. Music is in our blood passed on from generations. I played clarinet for 11 years and I was in every music group I could be in for school. My husband is a drummer and has been playing for 15+ years and our son is a low brass player and has been playing for 10 years. The band has much discipline as the football team. I have always wanted to see a RV tailgate party and this was great.

Tailgating is a great way too have fun with family and friends. Keep the rubber on the road.

I think this is one of my favorite episodes ever! Loved this

This is by far , my favorite episode. Being from Tennessee , and loving the band made my day. Such great camaraderie.

I've been enjoying this channel about a month or so now and look forward to Sunday evenings for the new episodes. :). Came across this one tonight and LOVED IT. As a band director myself, thanks for the awesome band footage. :) If you enjoyed college marching band, one summer you should catch a DCI show. In fact I think that will be an RV trip I'll plan for summer 2022 to follow a southern leg of the tour when they can hopefully have a real season again.

This just came up on my recommendations. I have been watching KYD for a few weeks now and love it. This particular episode is crazy. MTSU is my alma mater and I know Eric from school! So crazy!

Wow, Great episode, wish I was there. The energy the people! absolutely loved the singing of the national anthem in the parking lot. I would have cheered at the top of my lungs if I was there. Mark , how great to try the field goal! Glad I'm older now and I have no illusions now to try that, but it was great to watch you go do it. The positive energy of those young people was uplifting. Trish is a beauty and a joy forever!....Walt

From 1996 until about 2015 we used to leave Augusta Ga and head for Athens GA to go to the UGA games. My wife still remembers be pulling out at 2:00 on Friday and we would pull out of Athens at 10am Sunday. My grandkids grew up in the parking lots of the Coleseium, Ramsey Center, and Intramural fields were they would move us around to park over time. We were in one of the 2 school Sanctioned clubs at the time and the Football teams families and Cheer Leaders were part of the clubs. I fondly remember Vince Dooley, Larry Munson, and the future coaches come through the clubs potlucks from time to time and the HomeComing Parade always came through the campgrounds. As we got older and the institution under Dr Adams got greedy we decided we could party hearty with friends but we have fond memories and lasting friendships from out time in the Lots.

Brings me back to my marching band days 😁

Trish - I think this means you’re a marching band geek. Same, girl. 🙋‍♀️ I get alllll the feels from those bands!!! ❤️ You guys are the BEST!!

What a coincidence. My alma mater (Va Tech) is playing at MTSU next year, and some in our football tailgating group are going to that game. I find it wild that you happened to be at a MTSU. Unfortunately, we don't have a big MTSU supporter in our group of friends. We'll have to figure out our own parking while there. As an aside, I am impressed with how you could keep up with the players during their exercise routines. BTW, count us in the group who uses our RV as our home base for football tailgating. It's been a lot of fun over the years. Of course, the other use we make of our travel trailer are large cross country trips. We can do this since we're retired. :) Enjoy your weekly KYD updates.

Hi KYD family. I've been watching you guys almost since day 1 of your journey. This is my first comment. I've seen you grow, not only as a family "on the road" through trials and tribulations, but also as creative beings. I come from an entertainment background, a 28 year career stage lighting director, and My wife is a video engineer with a movie production background. Without getting long winded, your shooting and editing has been getting progressively better over the years and of course through better gear. But I gotta say, this particular video, is indeed ,without a doubt, hands down, your best so far. Great footage, killer slo mo, great editing, awesome transitions, you undoubtedly captured the feel of the event. That is tricky for even the pros in the industry . Nice work! Now, don't get a big head, lol, remember, you are only as good as your last piece of art "as they say" keep up the awesome work, and keep entertaining.

wow, I was totally unpressed with the way the football team acted. they were very helpful and just downright gentlemen! what a great bunch of men!

As a former football player and marching band geek, THAT WAS AN AWESOME EPISODE! That workout took me back to high school and college. Plus your footage was AMAZING. God Bless KYD.

I've never been to a college game before and now I feel like I can say I have. My goodness, what a great time. You made me feel like I was there. That was awesome. And hay guy, kudos for the really great try at the field goal. Just goes to prove, what you set your mind to and work at can be accomplished. Yeahhhhhh

First off, I’m surprised they didn’t tell Trish that all freshmen have to enter through the student gate! Great video, I’m really enjoying it with all of the excitement of college football and RV’ing.

We’ve tailgated with our MH at Autzen Stadium to cheer on our Oregon Ducks for about 7 years 🏈 We’ve tailgated much longer but getting the MH has made it more fun and much easier! Love it, the RV tailgating crowd is such a great community

Excellent video! Not a huge football fan, but this was a great video. We are hockey fans, great editing and story telling as well!

Well, when a non-football guy edits the video, it helps :) I love watching old Vince Lombardi documentaries and other sports highlights. But weekly games... not so much.

So many memories of Marching Band right now. It's amazing how you can go hang out on a college campus and just feel all the energy coming off the kids. One of my twins is mildly autistic and needed a companion at her university, so I'd go with her when her regular person couldn't go. I swear I felt 20 years younger every time I was there. Of course all the walking and stair climbing caught up with me the next day and then I felt older than dirt. :) This was a great episode! Thank you.

This was fun to watch since I have lived in Tennessee for many years. Great to watch!!!

This is how we tailgate every week at South Carolina home games. Lights, Stages, and all kinds of rigs!

I had no idea how intense the exercises were in football. Enjoyed seeing behind the scenes, & the feeling of being a band parent surfacing again. Seeing the color guard, reminded me of the times my Daughter spent practicing with her flag in the yard. It's been 18-19 years. I like that idea how orderly those hoses hung under your RV giving more room below. Very clever! Look forward to seeing you next week. Thank you for. Sharing.

Really enjoyed this episode and I don't even watch sports. I was a band kid so that rehearsal was my favorite spot and I forgot for a minute that I was watching a KYD episode. It really felt like I was watching a documentary on TV. Nice job.

I have been doing the avacado toast with Trader Joe's everything bagel spice for a little while now, so good!! I use sourdough and drizzle a little Tunisian Org olive oil on top, really good!! Pretty cool that y’all were tailgating and hanging out at a Middle Tennessee football game. One of my best friends, Bradley Peveto, was on Middle Tennessee’s Coaching Staff in 2003-2004. He was the Defensive Coordinator in 2004.

I have season tickets for the Univ of Florida games. My daughter and I talked about buying a tailgating space for the games next year even though it is 3 miles from my home. I loved this episode, being a die-hard college football fan and a member of the UF marching band when I was in college. This brought back some memories.

holy moly...imagine a prayer at a US sporting event...best video of the year. everything so well done...friends, game, sportsmanship and prayer.

Great episode. Its nice to see faith and passion still in sports. They are more motivating and inspiring then watching the pros.

I love that you did a tailgate episode. I plan to use my Airstream for tailgating at football games and concerts as well as my primary use of camping (Fly Fishing). BTW _ I see a lot of Culver Academy gear. One of my closest friends has a place on Lake Max. Another great episode. Well done.

Wow, what a great episode. The BTS look at the game, the lockers, the workout was so interesting. The whole tailgating experience and the people were so interesting to watch!

Great to see you Craig Cornish(Director of MTSU Band)!! I was a student of Steve Moore's in the 1990's.

Wow! This whole video was so much fun! The footage, the skill and technique of the Dobson touchdown was awesome! National Anthem singers were great! Mark’s behind the scenes working out with the team and then his kicking skill was great! Loved the whole video - but then I love all of your videos!

WOW! This has to be your best video yet. Great footage and coverage from the inside. Great editing, as well. I am sure that it was very nerve wracking having to leave so much on the cutting room floor. Outstanding work, you guys.

Wow, both of our sons have attended (one graduated and another is a senior) MTSU, so we have stayed there several nights with our RV - including several times this year. Too cool!

There are so many awesome moments in this video. It might be because I'm not feeling well this week but I don't think so, but I was misty-eyed several times while watching along. I LOVED that version of the Star Spangled Banner. I have family there in Murfreesboro so that caught my attention right from the start. Charlie was in a hurry to get somewhere! ROFL. (love that dog) That was a great talk by the coach after the game. My eyes were tearing up by then as it reminded me of so many moments growing up in a small town where faith was an important part of our life. I know that people have made some good points regarding some of the negatives that religion has introduced over the years but even as a gay man, I say the positives FAR OUTNUMBER the negatives. Anyway, AWESOME video guys. Safe travels! (Oh... I agree with you. His organization of those hoses in the basement was AWESOME!! Attention to details such as that really impress me.)

Whoa, what a throwback to the five years I spent in The Spirit of Troy USC Marching Band. I still remember the pregame routine I marched to this day.

Latricia Nicholson they do a great job. They inspired my wife and I to create our own channel.

It is torture, up here in the North all the RV's and Campers have been winterized and down for the season, i have to walk by my Jay flight SLX everyday wishing i could take it out! So until season starts i will keep living through you guys! Love the channel and cant wait for my hat!

Tailgating is our favourite reason for RV-ing. But I say that about everything HA (RVing is my favourite). We don’t do sports games though we do mud bogs. LOVE it!!
