That FSU-LSU game was magical because there was no play off expectations for either team. That was for sheer love of the game.

That LSU-Alabama ending still gives me chills, that was one of the greatest games I've ever watched.
That FSU game and Alabama game hit levels for the intensity and energy in those buildings
Tulane vs USC should have been on the list, that was a more electric upset than many of these. But the 2 Bama games had the most explosive plays with the last second upset finishes.

That as one hell of a game! Tulane refused to lose. I still watch highlights of the game.
We’re missing Oregon vs Oregon State, Texas vs Alabama, and USC vs UCLA. All three of these games were better than Michigan vs Ohio State this year. Michigan won by 22, while these three were all one possession.

@@twitchwxnkzfn Michigan won by 22, and they dominated the whole game. Game was not close. The other ones I just mentioned were one possession games even though they weren’t rivalries. Not to mention all with fantastic atmospheres. I’m not saying michigans game wasn’t good but to put it in top 10 when it was lopsided idk.

If you're a Vols fan, sure. But, it wasn't better (or more important) than the UGA-OSU semi-final game this year (where UGA came back from 2 huge deficits). Honestly, it wasn't any better than 2021's TAMU victory over Alabama. Or, how 'bout the LSU v Florida "shoe toss" game in 2020?

Great list. I would probably include TCU/Michigan and USC/Tulane.
Dont care who u root for i think its easy to see the best game and best environment in a game in 2022 was definitely Tennessee/Alabama. You guys got it right hands down.

I get the reasons for these games. But it would be interesting to see a top ten of best of great defensive games as well. Great defensive games are rare to find on any medium.

Two nothing teams, although it's definitely better than Kansas-Arkansas.
The TCU over Baylor win...was incredible. Remember watching that live, thinking no WAY they are going to get that kick off...NO WAY.
Honorable mentions: North Carolina vs App State Michigan vs TCU USC vs Tulane Washington vs Oregon USC vs UCLA Oklahoma State vs TCU I know these lists get very debatable, so let me hear what you guys would change. Thanks for watching!

LSU-BAMA game was my first LSU game ever and I was on edge ALL GAME!!!! Loudest crowd I've ever heard ever. And I lived by the Tampa Bay stadium

As a Mizzou fan, I went to the Mizzou vs Georgia game this past year. I’m a 17 year old dude and have been to many Mizzou games, but never rushed the field. We were minutes away from rushing the field and we blew it. Still the best football game I’ve been too. Hoping to go to game against Tennessee this year.

Alabama fan here, Texas is tough as fuck! We really have to play you guys week 2 next season. Well at least its in Tuscaloosa. I keep saying it, Texas is slowly getting all the components it needs to make a run for the national championship.

I was at the Kansas-Arkansas game myself (Ku Fan) and we drove out and as soon as i saw the score we drove back and ran in as fast as we could! Best game ever! tough loss though!

I still think that TN/Bama game tops the cake because of that atmosphere and where it is in the season. For bowl games you expect them to be close, but for that game to come in the middle of the season, it was a treat.
