Eric - Thank you for bringing the rain with you to California. I've been hoping you'd do this for quite some time. Kudos to you for helping alleviate our megadrought! :)
The “Castle” themed pizza place would not be surprising to older Californians, it was probably a old Round Table Pizza. Back in 80’s, it was one if not the best pizza in SoCal. Round Table was a Camelot themed restaurant with those same shields on the wall. Brought back great memories of little league games and birthday parties. Thanks

Round Table Pizza still exists. I’m not sure how many there are, but I know there’s one in Yorba Linda and one in Orange. Their Gourmet Veggie is my favorite pizza ever. Goes excellent next to a juicy ribeye.

Just wanted to let you know my husband and I just today caught up watching all of your videos. We started in mid to late 2020 and watched 3 to 4 videos a day. It's been great to see you've come a long way from your first video. My husband and I went full time in August of 2021. Hope to see you out on the road!

I grew in a small town in Oregon...moved to Long Beach when I was 40 and learned all about a Thomas Guide! Had to use one to make sure I did not go I to really bad areas! Had to adjust never running into anyone I knew and the darn sales tax! Met some great people...loved the weather!
Subscribed to you through Traveling Robert and glad we did. We enjoyed our first video from you...looking forward to more and will view some older ones too!

Come visit Long Beach! I'd love for our Tiger to meet Tara and Opie! Seriously, have fun and stay safe while in LA County. Take care, and may God bless.
Sorry for all the rain you encountered but glad Southern California got some rain. Enjoyed the information on urban boondocking.
It's good to see you smiling Eric and enjoying your life with your sweet kitties!
You could definitely tell he just woke up. I love it when my Gromit has just woken up and is all fuzzy headed and confused. He's just all warm and sweet when he's like that.
Good to see you I do Boondock on the street at night but I have a class B I’ve been doing it for over three years in Huntington Beach I’ve been living here actually for 25 years but three of those in my van dodge road trek during the day I park either at the state beach or the city beach or the park I do move around I do not travel love your video nice to watch take care be well and be safe from Huntington Beach California where the sun shines every day👍🏖🏄♂️🪵🇺🇸
I’m so thankful someone has provided a safe place for you to park in LA. Stay dry!
Not sure if your still around LA but I work at a great restaurant over in Arcadia called The Derby and it's our 100th anniversary this year! We are a great little steakhouse that was founded by a Jockey named George Wolfe, tons of Santa Anita race history! You should drop by. Maybe even help with overnight parking!
I really like how you showed us how you do stealth
The rain seems to really like you Eric! It follows you wherever you go!
🇺🇸Hey, Eric; Try Boondocking, in front, of OJ's old house, in Brentwood. GOD Bless.
I totally agree with driving through big cities at night. I made the mistake of driving through Houston around 5 pm on my way to Galveston. The return trip was at 2am. To navigate through big, unfamiliar cities I put on my Bluetooth earbuds, pop up my map program on my phone and set my destination. Helps so much to have that automated voice as my navigator helping to keep me on track.
Safety is always a consideration when in cities like LA. Glad you're safe with all the gadgets that help monitor the goings-on outside. And having furkids is the BEST - to have their trust, love & companionship is priceless. Enjoy your stay there & it's great that you have a wide of friends/acquaintances that you can count in in certain cities. As always, thumbs up!

Glad to see you and the kittens in a safe place. Looking forward to the next episode. Thanks Don
you know....I remember the beginning... you have changed a lot imho... but the Eric I see now is so much MORE than the younger version.. but the younger version was the one I began watching and stayed with to see how the journey would play out from video to video..... you may have lost some viewers Eric...but I have been here since the beginning.... and I am always curious what the next video will bring !! I like that the videos are not all quirky... or all remodeling the RV, or all your travel days, or the trials and tribulations of life in an RV... but I LOVE that it is a patchwork quilt of all of them.... it is the fabric that is making of your life... and we are lucky enough that you are sharing it with us..... does anyone stop and think how cool that is???? I for one, am looking forward to what is yet to come !!
Eric you missed the “nice” railroad stolen broken in box cars. That was lovely to see boxes scattered all over the place.
Glad your life is more "comfortable and manageable" now - you've worked hard to get it. I can relate to that!
Great video Nomadic Fanatic and the crew (Tara & Opey) ! Safety is key.🔐
Be safe... Can't wait to see your peeks of LA..
So glad your life has grown from when you started the channel. I have always loved the content from back then to how it is currently. Growth is great and I will always enjoy your videos. Have fun in LA
You are definitely more braver than I am. I wouldn't go anywhere near that place. Stay safe Eric.
Eric The Nomadic Fanatic will be changing his name to " Eric The Rain Bringer". Or " Eric The Drought Buster ". Lol. 🤣. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. 😎🇺🇸.
Little sketchy street boondocking, but you are really prepared, smart.
Hey Eric, it’s nice to see you smiling again. We met at Q. Hope to see ya on the road.
Glad you're in some better weather. Thank you for the video. Keep having fun.
While you are in LA, you should drive into El Segundo (right next to LAX) and have a meal at Fantasic Cafe on Main St. Best hole in the wall diner! Then go to Dough Boy donuts on Old Imperial for the best donuts (Apple fritter is best in the nation, and so is the Krueller). Also dont forget to stop at any RiteAid in CA for some Thrifty Ice Cream. The best!
Bro its so awsome to see you in California. I was there 9 years ago and i hope Lord lets me go back soon
The Saddle Ranch Chop House,on the Sunset Strip, they even have a mechanicle bull, its Chef Ramseys favorite place for Ribs.
It always rains a lot more in San Diego area than LA. I love it. Happy travels!
I like the idea that you have all those cameras around your RV. Its a smart way to travel. How generous that a Sub lets you stay at their place. Its a win win all around. Am looking forward to the next exciting adventure. Take care, hugs to you and the kitties!
I’m fairly new as a year maybe but I love the videos and the places you take us!
I am dying laughing at the eyeballs in the windshield.

Stay safe, LA can be fun, have a great time. Can hardly wait to see what you do next.
I've been watching you for years. I even go back to watch you and Jax in the first years. Kitties are so sweet and the only way I can get my cat fix as I've become asthmatic to cats. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for news on the ground from LA 🚙 you are definitely less stressed and we are glad for you. Kitties are beautiful and blessed: your little fam.
Your trips are getting better & better! Please cover L.A. & Orange County! I was born at General Hospital! I grew up in these 2 counties!
Always make my day better when I see your video pop up.
Northern California is in an extreme drought. Not sure what happened in San Diego. But it is California. I'm glad you have a safe place to stay. Take care of yourself, Tara and Opie
You want quirky and/or classic Los Angeles food? Try Philippe for a French Dip, Pink’s hot dogs in Hollywood, Canter’s in West Hollywood for giant matzo ball soup. If you come to Orange County, go eat at Rutabegorz in the city of Orange, and also enjoy the Orange Circle, which you can see in tons of videos on the Randomland channel. I wish we could offer you a spot to park in Anaheim, but HOA rules say nono, dang it. You might be able to stealth park the RV on the side Santa Ana Canyon Rd (east Anaheim) a block from a restaurant called Flappy Jack’s (great omelettes).
Best thing a person could possibly do in California, is get the hell out of there as fast as possible.
Hi Eric! Love your videos!! I'm in California and yes, weather has been so weird!! I'm near Yosemite in the foothills and we have had snow on and off this year quite a few times. The storms come and go... One day 70° next day in the 30's and snowing!! Yep, just plain weird!!
Your video was funny seeing Opie and Tara's eyes hlowing green in the window!

Loose some views, gain other, not worth worrying about. My cat Jasper and I watch your videos every week, Jasper will just lay on keyboard and watch the screen, he must know your are a cat person. Keep up the great work!
We love visiting LA but we have spent our time in much nicer areas with no “art” everywhere LOL The best rule on traffic is try to avoid going into the city in morning rush hour or out of the city during evening rush hour👍
I liked the shopping list, what an Easter Egg! Have lots of fun n b careful there.
I watch every video you put out, thanks for the content. I enjoy seeing places i probably will never get around to visiting.
Generally, if there are no cars parked at restaurants, the foods not that good. Where there are many people, the foods good. Los Angeles where you are isnt the best area to want to look around in. Other cities around LA, would be better. Glad you have a safe place to park so everything ssd's stays in one piece and the kids are safe. Anaheim, has Disneland, Hollywood has all kinds of things, good areas and bad areas. Knotts Berry Farm is good to go to since you like rides. The beaches are great.
The Rain Man Cometh lol 😱🤪 Screamin Sicilin thin crust is my fav Frozen . Be safe, hugs tara n opie .😻
Eric is the kind of guy who would travel to an unknown country and tries to order Pizza or Hamburger.
Great video. I am looking forward to your LA videos. Lived there for 12 years until we went full time in February 2020.
Don't forget the Tater Tots next time you go shopping. LOL
Fun video once again, and eric is the only hope for rain in drought areas, you should start CHARGING them a rain fee, because you bring it, wherever you go LOL. Who else misses, " you wouldnt like it, throw it on the ground" ? I hear it in my head every time he likes something. Hey, only actually happened once Eric! Like if you want Eric to bring that back like I do. Cheers
The guy who had the pig heart transplant died yesterday, was only 9 years older than me. I decided yesterday no more pizza, potato chips or junk food :D
Great video Eric... I really enjoy seeing you happy. I love your security system. I've been watching you for at least 7 years now and I have enjoyed your journey so much. Safe travels Eric.👍😁
Love seeing the messages on your dry erase board! Followed your channel 5 years and have enjoyed the changes and the quality of your videos. Change and moving forward makes for an interesting life. Cheers to you and your adorable kitties.
Not sure why you would visit such a seedy part of LA. Very interesting. :)
That croissant pizza looked really good! So did the other one!😋❤️
Hey Eric, if you are heading more north think about coming up to Nevada City, Ca. Just around an hour and a half or so from Sacramento in the foothills. Lots of interesting places and history of the gold rush up here. There is a wonderful little campground close to town. The Inn Town Campground for $40 a night. Or you are welcome to park on our property for free. lots of interesting old saloons and restaurants. A small gold rush town in the forest you can't beat it!
Send that rain up here to northern CA we NEED it! Hello from Dry Red Bluff, CA...
Your right our traffic is Bad! But we have a lot of good thing's here!
Always give you a thumbs up. You might want to visit Griffith Park, Autry Museum and the park itself.
"Nomadic Fanatic single handedly ends drought in southern California!"....ha, ha.....😄 Glad you made to decision to head north. That rain was crazy. Great video! Thanks for sharing tips for urban boondocking. You've come a long, long way from the old days when you first started traveling. I'm proud of how successful you've become.😁 Your kitties are super sweet. Safe travels to you all. 🐱🐱♥️
Lot of great information that helps me in my RV. Thanks
Hahaha.. the shopping list 🤣 And the kitties...that tail! Love seeing Tara hanging out on the couch and not hiding..be safe Eric 😺😺🤗

Eric, the saga continues where the curse that moisture follows you wherever you go.
Pizza looked really yummy hugs to Tara& Opie❤️
Yes, really loving this California stretch of videos. More please!
Just a heads up Eric. Dragon Man's in Colorado springs has opened an RV park and the Military Museum opens April 3rd. I don't know if you know who Dragon man is but you can look him up on here. Just an idea I thought you might be interested in.

Yes! Dragonman is quite an interesting character & a legend! So much knowledge & talk about an abundance of QUIRKY! That place is definitely a must see tourist attraction in my hometown! 🤩 He also collects hot rods, memorabilia from 50's, & built a famous Dragon bike! 😎🐉
Hey Eric I’ve been with you from the early days thank you for sharing your life’s journey thank you for allowing me to follow your life’s journey. Cheers!!
Glad the truck driver was near you parked for the night, and your friend offered you a place to park. Big cities are not for me, too much stuff going on. That pizza looked great. Tara and Opie look happy just hanging out. Enjoying the adventure with you. Be safe. 🙂👍
Don't forget tater tots.... 😂😂😂😂
Glad you're having fun! That pizza did look yummy. :)

Just as always another great video. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. Btw I think you need more tater tots!
Feel your pain Eric. A few years ago we went out to Pasadena to the Rose Parade and it poured buckets on parade day, and they said it was the first time it had rained on the parade in like 50 years!
Alright ur in L.A. Here's some recommendations from a local. Pink's Hotdogs, El Coyote (for great Mexican), Porto's Bakery (you wont regret, trust me 🤤), Randy's Donuts from Waynes World, Medieval Times in Buena Park for a great time and relive some Cable guy nostalgia. 2 awesome outdoor malls in LA, The Grove and The Americana, they're like miniature Disnleylands, you'd love. Once you're in Orange County area, Moreno's for great Mexican food and atmosphere (sit outside on beautiful landscaped patio area)

That "Where Am I At" app looked very helpful. I got it. Thanks

Thank You for reinforcing my opinion of never needing to go to L A
Ahh, sunset blvd and Marina Del Rey to Malibu would be a good outing. Maybe hit the J Paul Getty museum too.
Shopping list. Tator Tots!
Very informative video. Thanks!
once i parked at a casino overnight, you could stay 3 nights...after that was over i parked in a field next to the casino with another RV. The guy saw me in the morning and said the reservation police knocked on his door and then knocked on mine as we can't park here overnight. I had a few glasses of wine at the Casino...so i heard no knock...so no problem...slept right through that! I have parked on city streets briefly but there were other rv's so it was not a problem..nothing id want to do often!
I am SO sorry you got rained-on in San Diego! When were you there? I live in south Orange County and we haven’t much of anything in a couple of months. And YES, our reservoirs are almost dry…about the most serious drought we’ve had. Our water comes from the Colorado River and the Sierra Nevadas snow pack. Not a whole lot of that lately. Anyway, hope your further adventures in California are fun and rain-free!
Hey hey from over here in Australia. Great to see you. Just love your content. Thanks
