    Miso -- we avoid soy, we use a fermented garbonzo recipe. Shelf on camper -- we use two per side, but keep open flames away from the rig. 2003, we converted a 1997 Ford CF8000 to our concept of an ExpeditionVehicle. After nearly two decades full-time live-aboard -- summers around remote mountain lakes, winters on isolated Baja beaches -- we think less is better.

    Knowing how to cook decent meals while boondocking is a must. Someone always ordering out for food at home should learn to cook meals before getting into RV boondocking. IMO.

    One comment of the utmost importance: that was not "green chile" she put in the muffins, it was salsa verde. There's a big, huge, massive difference ;)

    Hey Kate I add green chile's to my quiche with some sausage and cheese. I pour it in a pie crust so it resembles a pie and it's delicious. We have it alot on Sundays for a brunch and it never lasts long. Loved the video guys..... Thanks for all the travel information. Hugs from Minnesota

    WTR, JOE, until you were comparing the SLIDE IN vs FLATBED, I had NEVER KNEW that drawer in rear ever EXISTED, yes nice clear day, for using it , ‘From She to Me’ does the same with a table for her stove for outdoor meals , Thanks for COLEMAN, never saw a basic 1lb refillable cylinder, I made something similar , for the BERNZAMETIC 14 OZ CYLINDERS . still have it so whom made that cylinder ?     WTR, nice Coleman stove for outdoor cooking, but They make several types I saw a cooktop & below was an OVEN, in a School us conversion . remember the card you sent? I said it could not have come at a better time, well I got a call from the rehab, where my wife was in, she came down with pneumonia 2 days ago, she expired @ 3am Feb14 /21 stay. Well happy trails ,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

    Slurp, slurp, yum. It is fun watching you cook resourcefully and deliciously. How about some Campbell's corn chowder with extra corn and some ghee for starters? i cooked it in a low wattage Dash electric skillet, sized for RVs. Love those fish balls too.

    Great video as usual! Ironically we camped in that EXACT spot with our 6.7 F350 Tremor with a Northern Lite 8-11 on the back, last November. As you said - beautiful place!!

    Hi,Good jog enjoyed the fish balls ! I have been eating them for over 40 yrs I'm not Asian, it's funny because everyone always laughs at me ,fish don't have them ha ha! Thai meat balls are the best and they are made by hand not by machine. I check it out and found out a lot of historical stuff, Joe you might like the history .Thank you for your time.

    It seems like some kind of table that could attach to or unfold from the camper/truck somehow would be nice. Cooking and food prep on low camp tables is a major pet peeve of mine and most camp tables max at 30” tall (your side table is shorter than that-I have one) and ideally 36” tall-kitchen counter height. Saves your back.
