It was but I think it was more a case of refusing the pot but also not playing safe off any of the other reds and leaving that red on for Judd and so Hossein chose to remove it. Especially as where the cue ball stopped on Judd's previous shot, the green was blocking a direct path to most if not all other reds.

Ace in pack sent a good message for the rest of the tournament he's the real deal

Only allowing your opponent half the number of frames as you win yourself is pretty ruthless. From the other four round of 32 matches to finish so far, only one loser won fewer than the five frames that Hossein did at four, with the other three losers winning six, seven and nine.

@@seanscanlon9067 other results don't influence whether this was ruthless. And this scoreline wasn't ruthless, Judd didn't even play that well, he barely had a 50 break.

@@13slays Other results make for a comparison, so are you saying then for example that a 10-1 win in one match is not ruthless compared to a 10-9 in another? The only requirement to win a frame is to score more points than your opponent, which is far more significant than the size of a break. Judd managed to do that twice as many times as his opponent and so I would call that pretty ruthless. If this year's champion were to win the final 18-9 I would say that was ruthless too.

@@seanscanlon9067 if your scraping frames over your opponent then its not ruthless, judd being such a big break builder and winning by not making a 50 is not ruthless, and on top of that add that he only won 10-5 , again not ruthless. A 10-1 win is ruthless regardless of other frame scores.

Not sure if you mean this or not, but at this round of 32 stage of the tournament it is a two table set up, so you can hear shots being played on the other table.

I think Judd could win this year. When his long potting is there he can beat anyone. Including O Sullivan. When they met in the last final his long potting wasn't good enough.

I’d love to walk into judd practicing and say I’ll play you for a score of quid and I’ll give you 3blacks start just to see his face my highest break is 56 😊

Vafaeis comments about the Crucible? Does no one have respect anymore? Who cares if it's not "New" & "Shiny", it has prestige & history! No one bats an eyelid at all the old historical buildings etc, yet the Crucible is smelly & NOT Shiny? Who cares you should be GRATEFUL & RESPECTFULL, it's Snookers sporting royalty venue, that has had many great matches, that created many Champions, heroes & villains!
