    I'm curious. What was the purpose of the bits of metal inside the scabbard? I don't think I've seen anyone else do that.

    I've seen a lot of your videos--as well as others from other people who do similar kind of work--and I'm left with one major problem: They call that stuff "bluing" but when it's used, it seems to turn the metal black...

    Sometimes it *looks* black, but it is in fact a very very dark blue. You can see it in the light usually

    nice content.. a good watch I must say.. one question.. for a badly pitted blade, is there nothing that can be done to quickly repair it, like maybe just a simple welding job and then grind it down again?

  • @1anthonybrowning

    @1anthonybrowning

    That adds too much heat, which destroys the temperature of the steel. Additionally, intense, localized heat from welding would cause warping.

    Not without ruining the heat treatment of the steel, which is a pain to re-do.

    You had mostly difficulty to work on handle by knife 🔪 You cut difficult to remove part of leather and metal on handle. I’m trying to make sense to you. You’re so amazing to set “Pocket Wood” with knife 🔪 I’m sure knife 🔪 is very value to everybody. We ate Cracker Jack several times. But we didn’t find nice prizes. You found knife from Cracker Jack. You’re so lucky! Anyway, knife 🔪 is very cool. See ya next project 👍🔪

    5:34. PLEASE! Lower the vertical blade guide! 👎I can see the blade wandering side to side. RTFM for your band saw! No more that 1/4" above the work piece. Add a light if you can't see what you're cutting.

    You do understand that it was WWI that was associated with trench warfare, right? Why do you guys call every 20th century war relic a 'trench' object??? That's misleading click bait.
