I got the same TJ in the same trim package.. Nice! That rear door closing so smooth is satisfying. I like the setup but id probably consider a center plate or bars coming out a bit from the bumper to protect the tire in a drop off situation where the tire would get hit. That is if its wheeled that hard.. Thax for the video.. Like the setup!!

Do you know what size those original bolts that’s on the tailgate. The ones that you had to reuse I don’t have on there and getting ready to install rusty tire carrier Was hoping Rusty’s provide bolts for the Tailgate

Not sure I would search on eBay for tailgate bolts for TJ’s. Also, we don’t upload to this channel any longer. We’ve moved our jeep content over to (Campbell Built) our other channel. Please subscribe over there for new videos..

I like the exhaust placement. Is it a 3 inch pipe? If so how did you get it to not rub the shock? The guy who did mine was just like “It’s just not possible, so he slapped on two inch but it doesn’t have that nice burble from before.

Your rubber stops should be about an 1/8 or touching your tire. Yours are way to far away and therefore not supporting you tire from bounce

Did the 3rd brake light come with the carrier? Or did you have to purchase it separately?

@@poker8193 I don’t think Rusty’s sells very many of theses. I never ran into another TJ/LJ that had it so I understand why your asking. I’ve had several people that had metal cloaks, jcr’s, and gen right and they were checking mine out. Metal Cloak was supposed to be coming out with a new design at least they told me about 6 months ago they were. Not sure what their new one was going to be like. Love the Rusty’s though.
