Looks great! Can't believe it's the same truck. And yes, Cody needs his own channel. I don't know why, but he makes me happy and laugh when he talks. I smile when I see him on the show. Please Codester, start a channel!

Love what you do! So many car youtube channels are working in million dollar shops with seemingly unlimited budgets. Your channel is for the rest of us "regular people". Keep doing what you are doing!!!!
I love the distain for patina, I'm sick of the huge engines in a pile of rust! Keep up the good work.
For those who don't know painting black is hardest color to get right. It shows nearly all body work. Dalton great job! 👍
It's cool to see a good Father teaching his son about life & the importance of hard work for ethics or character building. Way to go good Dad!!!

Like many others have already commented, this is the truck that sent me your way from Junkyard Digs. I am certainly glad I subscribed. Your channel is very entertaining and informative! I am jealous of your multi million dollar shop though, all I have is a driveway. The floor jack doesn't roll as well, but I make due. Keep up the great work! My, my, Dalton, what have you done? You created a new Chevy Sport Truck! That's a road warrior for the next auto show!! Is anybody drooling out there yet??
I love that your shop is old school! Back in the day, every old man had garages like yours, no nonsense built on a shoestring budget. The only thing missing is the cigar smoke or pipe tobacco smoke drifting through the shop. Man, I sure do love this KZread channel, thanks Pole Barn!!!

Dude, that's awesome! First video I saw of you was when you picked up this truck. I immediately subscribed to your channel. To see this trucks transformation from then till now has been inspiring. Can't wait till the stripes go on. You have brought back to life a rare truck that was almost beyond repair but you saved it. I commend you.
Best channel on YT, period.

Thanks!
when Cody said "this number with a little bit of that" *rotating arm* it was so relatable to my shop, we have an in house machine shop and there's certain parts that they consistently f*** up 🤣I often tell new guys when assembling just grab a drill bit and wiggle it around in the hole then it'll all fit.
You really are a man of the people, Dalton. Your videos have been a nice mix of budget restoration while putting in some more effort above the usual "patina'd" projects, this truck being a nice example of that. I'm looking forward to see what you have in store for the rest of the fleet.

I'm thoroughly impressed. She's going to be a beaut when she's done and even in its current stage it's absolutely fantastic, especially when you see what you started with. Can't wait until it gets all the shiny bits on!
Man the truck turned out sweet… you are one of my favorite you tubers…. Reason being you are humble and show people we can do it we just need to try… dont ever forget where ya came from thats what makes you a special person…your son in time will always remember the times dearly…. Love ya man
I could not believe, even imagine this truck beeing repairable, you have a youtube channel that proves and shows that the regular guy can do things, we do not need the "hollywood magic" to fix, Thank You so much for your channel, it is so good to feel part of it all, The Holley Goat, that is all amazing, anything is impossible for the JagMen
Smashed it mate, looks great. We love Cody, bring on another channel, though I think you guys are likely better together.
Hooooooooo ya! Looks amazing. I was like "Yeah, yeah, you'll never restore that" when you picked it up from Kevin's. When you got it home and I saw how bad it was I honestly never thought you'd actually got through with it but by golly you did and I think it looks really REALLY good. She'd gonna be a peach when she's done. The video brought back a lot of old memories of my dad and his neighbour fixing up and painting cars, just like you, first in a poly-tunnel kind of affair, then when that blew apart in a storm, they built a wooden shed made out of timber and pallet wood slats. The roof didn't quite leak as much as yours but it still leaked fairly well. I remember begin in the later shed and them fixing my dad's car in there one evening in a torrential downpour just like that storm. Nice.

We do what we gotta do right?
Not too shabby, decent body lines and gaps. Sometimes you have to be creative while doing bodywork in order to finish the vehicle in order to just drive the damn thing. Should be a fun one to drive!
Cody is the best. Nice work on the truck.
I can’t believe that this is the same truck that JYD dug out of a barn! My hat is off to you for bringing this hunk of, you know what, back to it’s former glory. Especially without a 10 million dollar shop with 80 bays? 🧐We can’t wait to see it all completed. Keep up the great work D We are so looking forward to the next installment on this ol’ jewel. Thank you! SUBSCRIBE PEOPLE!
Dalton I know you weren't the most keen on that cowl hood, but it suits that truck perfectly. I cant believe how far this truck has come. No one would ever believe it's the same truck you started with. Great job sir and I cant wait to see the finished product when you get it there.
Cody is the best secondarily character since Cold war motors Dean.
For starting out as rusty as the Silver Dollar Chevy did, the Truck looks really great! This truck has come from rusty basket case to a nice going to town rig.
Man, it is inspiring to see a truck done so beautiful without a million dollar rotisserie restoration or we'll lose the shop show, 👍 you're what local legends are made of
Hard to believe that was once a step side you could step through 😬 great work man!
Dalton I really like watching your channel. Everyone seems to be doing revivals. However you actually are making something nice out of them! Actually finishing them. Thank you!
It’s about time one of my channels actually painted something. This is awesome.
Cody definitely needs a channel and would love to see him doing his own projects!
Great Job! Keep up the good work! Watch your expenses, don't want to lose the shop now. I thought that I was the only one that used structural super glue to hold in the bolts for a lifetime repair.
Absolute perfection for a driver that truck went from someone saying it is scrap to one of the best step side trucks on the road
You and your brother are awesome together I love when you two get together and work on units. In all honesty, you should be so proud , that truck is beautiful and its just unreal watching your channel mature and evolve. P.S dont worry about us saying anything about that bolt, you never rat on a guy that drives a Jaaaaaag.
Dalton, the reason I love watching you so much is because of the bolt and glue. It was like a flashback to something I've done not so long ago LMAO. Whatever it takes man. The truck looks amazing. Id be curious what that truck would net after completed. Surely it would vary by region, it would definitely fetch a premium up here in the Northeast.

The Silver Dollar Stepside is looking Fantastic! I'd say it's the Jewel of the truck fleet. Well done sir, Huzzah! Hell of a lot of work is rewarded by what you have now.
Growing up in Missouri that joke about the Midwest weather at about 29:30 killed me😂😂😂😂
How is this the same truck that you guys literally had to dig out of the earth and rust that had fallen off of it insane, I love it
your dad mustve taught u really well man, its amazing what youre capable of. hopefully JD carries on this attribute
Looks fantastic! I'm really loving this series, and it's always great to see Cody helping out too
Being a self proclaimed hack artist.... You did a bang up job on that truck. Nice job Dalton 👍
Cody needs a channel. Silver dollar chevy looks like a million bucks , nice job
Another great video - from all that rust you have made a really nice pickup good work !
I have a feeling people think you have to build it out 2 feet from wherever your ding was using a bucket of mud. It's totally unnecessary if you just follow the contour and also know how to spray primer.. that's kinda key. Also, I'm glad to hear you reiterate short strand glass as a foundation - you can build the strongest house in the world but if it's on a weak foundation, it's just going to crack in a year. GLASS IS STRONG!! You are the man Dalton, thanks for doing the videos.. awesome work!
Dalton truck looks super!! What your son is learning will make him one of the few that will save his generation!!
I remember this truck from junk yard digs and when I first saw it I was like wow that pickup is gone gone I’m more than impressed with how you brought this thing back to life
Looks great! Hard to believe what this rig looked like prior! Great video!
Keep up the great work man, this truck is looking awesome! Been following the FB posts in awe.
Kudos to you. Dalton, showing Buttina KZreadrs how you can actually finish a project.

She looks awesome Dalton, well done
I just painted my IROC Camaro last weekend with a cheap siphon feed gun that was spitting exactly like yours. I wasn’t smart enough to stop like you did so I’m re doing it this weekend. The wife found the irony very amusing. We love your channel, thanks for your hard work video editing and sharing with us
Damn fine job Dalton! Cody get your own channel already, we are tired of waiting for your random appearances. We need more Cody!
29:05 Oh, my God. My wife and I have traveled together to every one of the contiguous United States by car. "We have a saying in [YOUR STATE HERE]: 'If you don't like the weather, just wait [ten or fifteen, depending where you are] minutes, it'll change!'" By the end of every road trip, I like to tally up how many times I've heard it.
Dalton I love this truck cant hardly believe this is the same truck and can’t wait to see it all finished up
I'd drive that sweet K10 with pride! She's coming along very nicely, great job!!!

Wow! Great job, I love that your showing folks it's not all about a checkbook and high end equipment.
Great work, keep on repairing the truck. It is irecognisable from the rusted out snow plow it once was. Safety tip: Replace the 2 point lap belts with 3 point seat belts. Maybe you can get them from the sacrifice farm truck if they are in good consition. It would be best if they aren't burned through with a welder like the lap belts are. 😂 Keep on making these great videos.
