The west has propaganda, but our media outlets are not all government owned and the "propaganda" of the west is more of a bias produced by the western perspective than it is an effort by our governments to distort our perceptions. We dislike our governments too much to listen to them.

I could go and rob a bank, and just say...oh, well, stop talking about my bank robbery and talk about all those bank robberies commited in all the other countries. Using nuclear weapon in 1945 had a good reason. It wasnt an unprovoked surprised attack with no reason. The west was up against an empire with absolutely feverish cult following by the general population. Nukes may have killed 100 000 people, but an invasion of the Japanese mainland would have cost millions. You are exactly the kind of person who would worship and excuse all of the emperors crimes and force other people into war. Russia had no reason to start a war in Donbass and invade Ukraine. Life in those areas was good, and they were living a better life than an average Russian on the other side of the border. The kind of propaganda currently spread in Russian TV networks is gross and disgusting. News anchors who boast about nuclear war and anihilating United Kingdom. Also, dont forget that it was the massive, unprecedented support from the west and USA that saved Russia from the nazis.

Many of these are simply jokes or first counries they thought of. If you speak Russian you can tell by the words they use, that in some of these they are trying to make a joke out of it. No one can seriously dislike a country for not knowing where it is, it having no water or not being able to go there. I, for example, don't like UK, because I can't go there. And I don't like Nordic countries, because of their cities' architecture. Only when you expand these questions you get the true reasoning. I like UK, but I do not like the fact, that I have to pay up to 7,000 pounds for documents alone without the guarantee of my application success. I don't like UK, because I want to move to the UK and they are being annoying with not allowing people in. And I do not like Nordic countries because of their architecture in bigger cities, they often have quite flat and unimpressive facades in comparison to France or Czech Republic. Kopenhagen is nice, but not my taste. The problem is, that "Like" is extremely close with it's meaning to "I prefer" or "I am interested". No one is interested in the country they don't know the location of, and when you don't like a country for it's architecture it doesn't mean you dislike the architecture. You simply do not prefer it, it is not your style. Languages are fascinating, but they often create misunderstandings like that.

She's partly right. Ukrainians and Russians are the two most "cleansed" by the propaganda of the people. Even the message of propaganda is the same. Everyone is told that a couple of thousand soldiers died during the war, although in fact tens of thousands. Everyone is told that their opponent hates them (although now it probably is). Both are told that the enemy is to blame. Ukrainian media, as well as Russians, post a lot of fake videos and photos. The same bombing of the maternity hospital, where a special actress and model from Ukraine was filmed (she played the injured pregnant women). Recently there were videos of the bombing of residential areas in Kharkiv, and in the evening it turned out that these were shots from Israel or other countries.

🤣 ha, I love this. As a world traveller I love every country, but I also HATE every country. But after visiting them I can now hate them on a personal comedic level. 😏 Now please do this same interview for all the countries. Im sure it would be hilarious.

Don't want to start an argument, just want to ask one question: is there a concept of "totalitarian regime" in the West? Because in Russia, we have 3 types of regime : Democratic, Authoritarian and Totalitarian. And I have never seen anyone use "totalitarian" in the news or from other people.

Russia in most people eyes are under Putin authoritarian regime, its not exactly like North Korea, but its still very similar. Information that you can find in every country is very different from what russians read so often we see as russians being brainwashed. North koreans are even under more stricter regime. Its sad.

as a Chinese i don't think a few ppl represent the whole country. you probably can find a few million ppl here in china that dislike Russia, but there are still a billion more ppl believe that Russia is our important neighbor and we should get along well with each other.

A few really amazing things about this. First, I was impressed with how many other countries these people had been too or known about. A lot of common Americans have never left their home state and their grasp of world geography is usually bad. I was also surprised by how candid everyone seemed to be, almost as if you knew them already. Lastly I was waiting the entire time to hear America be named but it never was; pretty humbling really but I already knew we're lied too by our own media. Best wishes.
