I know this might be a bit confusing to you, but injured, missing, captured and dead soldiers all together are generally called casualties, and that number is certainly higher than 50 k by now. It doesn't mean they are all dead. The number of confirmed dead is 50 000. Hope I didn't confuse you more.

Zelensky claimed around 800k in active service but had suffered only 31k casualties so far. Then why does he need an additional 500k??

Ukrainian figures are around 450,000 dead. That's a conservative estimate. Some estimates put it as high as 650,000 dead.

500k is estimated killed, wounded, missing and POWs. 50k is confirmed deaths. The real death toll is higher as many of the dead are listed as missing or no one knows they were at the front in the first place (prisoners). Also Wagner and other PMCs are not a part of Russian Army so Russia doesn't consider them as their own casualties.

Russia lost 20,000 only in the single small town of Bakhmut, according to drone footage, around 100/day. Nothing but catastrophic Russian losses drove Wagner to march on Moscow.

Difference is that advancing force should have 3 and argued in this kind of warfare even 5 times more deaths than defending ones but it looks like Russia just overpower whaterever west and Ukraine throws on it.

26 months (113 weeks) for 50,000 means 440 per week (1,920 per month). And yet there is no problem with conscription (volunteers) and the Levada Centre's polling of 86% Presidential approval rating reflects the results of the Presidential Election. I only wish the BBC (biased broadcasting corporation) would lift a finger and research Kiev's losses as well. Or perhaps investigate why the Istanbul negotiations broke down (Zelenski walked away).

i remember when Ursula Von der Leiden blow out 100thousand Ucranians K.I.A. later in 2023 was 300thousands K.I.A. and now in 2024 Colonel McGregor said Ucranians K.I.A. was half a Million. so , if Russians lost 1 to 10. this makes a lot of sense why are we realizing Ucraine is defeated since Summer of 2022.

@@PipesEnjoyer You are making things up. Read the text of the draft Istanbul agreement from April 2022. All 4 Eastern oblasts were allowed to remain in Ukraine provided they got autonomy, provided no joining NATO, constitution to incorporate neutrality, and equal treatment of Russian speakers (culture, language etc).

@@Dungshoveleux “remain in Ukraine, but keep autonomy” are you serious right now? How is this any different from what was happening in Donbas region for this whole time??? This is basically saying “you keep your territory, but the territory has its own flag, different currency, it’s own government(pro-Russian government) and no joining NATO!!!1” in what way is Ukraine joining NATO, is a Russian concern? How can Russia decide when someone joins NATO, and when they cannot?
