Russian Doomer songs have such an energy, that even without understanding a single word, you feel every emotion the singer wanted to give

Are you sure you understand their meaning correctly? Are you sure that these emotions were conveyed by the author? Usually the energy is in words, not in music, and if you do not understand the words it will be something light, and that's all .. But it's not .. The weight of words on light music, that's what it is

@@hibahprice6887 The energy is entirely within the music though. Not all music has words, so according to you its just fuck people like Beethoven and Bach, who wrote pieces a majority of which didn't have words. Yes words can clarify or perhaps even redirect the energy of a song by adding the skilled usage of language to a song, but the energy is in the music.

sorry for google translate For English speakers, I talk about the content of the song and its emotional content. The first. The legendary group "Kino" in Russia. A song in which the hero asks his beloved just to wish him good luck in battle, and he just wants to stay with her. Second. "LUBE" is a group dedicated to the story of the feelings of a simple guy from Russia. The text is about how a soldier begs, persuades, demands his friend not to give up, not to despair and not to lose consciousness from wounds. Thirdly. "Kino". The song is about a group of people who are tired of not being able to live the way they want, and that they have no one but themselves, and there is also a star above their heads.

00:00 It's such a warm place, but there on the streets where our footprints are waited for, stardusted boots sparkle and shine. A soft arm chair, checkered plaid, not pressed and not hurried. A bright sunny day above the dazzling dreams... My blood type is on my sleeve. My serial number is on my sleeve. Wish me now some luck in the fight, wish me... I won't stay in this field of green. I won't stay in this field of green. Wish me now to be lucky, wish me now... to be lucky. I am able to pay, but I never want a triumph at any price. I never want someone's chest lying under my foot. I would rather stay here with you, just to stay here with you, but the star that reaches high in the skies still gives me the route... My blood type is on my sleeve. My serial number is on my sleeve. Wish me now some luck in the fight. Wish me... I won't stay in this field of green. I won't stay in this field of green. Wish me now to be lucky, wish me now... to be lucky. Приятного чтения

@@salt-d2032 im sorry. google translate is here :) the texts of this author are very difficult to translate. All meaning is lost. even the literal translation requires explanation. some places could only be explained by him, but he is no longer with us. For example, the first couplet "warm place", it's not actually warm. It means that the person is well settled in life. Comfort zone. Now you have to get out of this comfort zone. "The streets are waiting for the prints of our feet, stardust on the boots" - it means that you will have to go very far, "to the stars." And then the reason why it happened is given. "Easy chair, checkered blanket" describes an old man's or very lazy lifestyle. "not pulled the trigger in time" - important decisions related to risk and violence were not made in time. "a sunny day in dazzling dreams" is escapism. Escape from reality. But the possibilities for ignoring problems have been exhausted. Such a translation of the first verse completely changes the meaning of the song as a whole.

I'm not Russian, I'm Canadian. We have things in common. We can withstand the cold. We like the outdoors. We love ice hockey. However, I always liked Russians a bit more than other people. I like the sound of their language. I like the legendary toughness of Russians, and the rich history of their country. When I was a kid, my favorite ice hockey players were Sergei Fedorov, Pavel Bure and Alex Kovalev. Not long ago, it was Andrei Markov before he left my team, the Montreal Canadiens. Today, it's Alex Ovechkin and Andrei Vasilevskiy. I just finished reading Dmitry Glukhovsky's Metro trilogy. I had (still have) a crush on Lena Katina. My favorite video game is Barotrauma, a game that has a huge Russian fanbase. I've played with many of them and they were all chill. Now here I am, listening to this. Maybe I am a little bit Russian after all. EDIT: I am back to this playlist after the start of the war in Ukraine. If you don't want to read my opinion about it or don't want to be spoiled about the Metro books I suggest you don't read any further. This war really reminded me of Metro. In the last book, there are two "enemies" who send their people in a huge battle deep in the darkness. In reality it's all a stupid chess game by higher ups who are far away from the slaugther. Both sides are full of people who have no idea who the enemy is, they are just sent into one another. After the massacre, they realize they know each other, that they are friends, brothers. Power corrupts. Wars are orchestrated by elites. It's one of the ways they found to maintain and augment control and power. Never forget who is the real enemy.

No. The first is that despite the desire to stay with your beloved, you need to go into battle. And this is evidenced by his blood type on the sleeve of his uniform. The second is about the people of the war who toast their lives in the war and all the good things to come. Third, that only a star in the sky is our faith and hope in this difficult and difficult life. Fourth, that a difficult life depresses like a shadow, but what is loved is the main hope of life. Fifth, that a person drives away his longing and wants to lose it forever. The sixth is a musical theme from the game "Stalker". The seventh is about a soldier who is a hero, a lost country and a hero of a lost country. The eighth is about the hero of the Great Patriotic War, the battalion commander. The battalion commander (commander, battalion or battery) The battalion commander is the position of an officer in the Red Army. The ninth is that there are those who strive to find and catch up with something they need. And those who have nothing to look for, they go to sleep peacefully.
